Have to give it out to Mukesh Chabra for casting the film so perfectly. Look at the reel and real images and you see they are spot on.

Literally a make or break film for Ranveer Singh.

Huge budget, Huge Cast, Top Director, Anti-Pakistan Sentiments, Brutality/Action...the film literally has everything going for it. It's like a combo of the three biggest blockbusters post pandemic....Amimal + Jawan + Gadar 2.

If Ranveer has any star power left, this should easily hit the 500 Cr mark. You cannot make a more perfect Box office Pot-boiler. Anything less than 300 Cr with this product and Ranveer won't be leading any big budget project for a long, long time.

Was the trailer response good enough to guarantee a big opening? Animal, Pathan, Jawan trailers got excellent response. Ranveer on his own does not have box office pull.

They are stupidly not promoting this film and its splitting into 2 parts at the last moment is making me uncertain of the end product. Not getting the positive vibes I got earlier after watching the teaser, as in feeling lack of confidence from the makers and general lack of hype everywhere. WOM will make or break it since Ranveer has no solo stardom or pull to get people to fill seats by himself for himself.

A 20 cr + opening will be the expectation of the makers on a non holiday. It is a good number for a serious ,non massy film. Fighter had Deepika.. perhaps similar to Skyforce,Uri..

Social Media response hardly means anything nowadays. We can see that with countless movies like Baby John where Atlee & Co had completely "hijacked" Bollywood Twitter & Instagram.

Where it stands with the "Ground Buzz" is too early to say, still a lot of time left and other assets to come.

Today industry is more focussed on the 2nd weekend collection. If the trend is good,film is considered a hit for the audience. They liked it. The budget issues/ the delays/ clashes,affect the producer.

Gadar 2 ,Stree2,Chhaava,Animal..big blockbusters,came and went. Some flops too. They come and go. Then the next film comes along. So it goes on. Those in the BO reporting business will try to make each a do or die situation..To keep the excitement going.One would think that it is the last chance to get into IIT..or AIIMS.

It is more similar to what Federer says,that he lost more sets than he won. Yet here he is! I think Actors career is like that.
