Yeah i remember putting romance of the little forest on my list , I must have liked it to do so..but i seriously dont remember the plot now..ofc the ml was smart & one of the main reasons I held on ..he catches onto her personality & is thankful to her..ah it was the one where he leaves her just like that when everything was going good bw them n she was abt to propose right ?..now I remember

I try to complete c-dramas since I am a Mandarin learner ( I also watch chinese blogs on youtube with beginner level content) . The number of k-dramas I have dropped are way higher in comparison . If I find a c-drama boring I try to fast forward since I want to just get it over with so that I can move on to another show.

I liked him as the supportive husband in New Life Begins (though one could argue romance wasn't the main focus of the drama).

I liked his role in YAMH, NLB, and TFF but something about Mobius and Justifiable Defense hit differently!

Btw are you following HSK? If so which level you at?

Tried watching As You Stood By, but the 2nd episode was way too uncomfortable for me to watch coz of DV issue. It was just too much, i was scared for her, and my heart couldnt take it anymore. Too much domestic violence on the FL. Physically, emotionally and sexually abuse gosh.

So stopped watching in middle of 3rd epi.

Have you watched Reset? I haven't watched Mobius and Justifiable Defense yet but I liked Reset a lot as well which is not romance focused either. I am HSK2 currently. Are you trying to learn Mandarin as well?

I've watched Reset also!! Not a BIG fan of BJT but somehow I ended up following his works after YAMH

Same! I won’t call myself a big fan either but I watched more c-dramas of him and Zhang Ruo Yun than other actors’
