I didn’t find it idiotic because they didn’t do anything drastic - and it’s not any other week it’s family week. Everyone was super nice to his wife when she came, they celebrated their union, he was laughing along with them, he hated them then too? They were all laughing and joking together this week. Every single person put their grudges aside and had a good time.

No. If the joke is wrong he shouldn't have laughed it off and later he could have used it as a point against GK during their fights but he didn't. Even after coming outside he praised him

He praised him in general, that doesn’t change the fact that GK used a word used by many men to diminish the masculinity of men. It’s not IF, the joke he cracked was wrong and he was mocking Baseer. He should learn to take a joke because the other contestant also took a joke and he wasn’t on good terms with him at the time. But again using meetha is offensive, there is no debate on this in my mind, Baseer not bringing it up is a non issue.

Baseer took GK’s cheap jabs well, because he isn’t a spoilt sport and because it’s something he likely has heard before but is secure about his sexuality. Just because Baseer doesn’t say anything doesn’t change the fact that GK was sounding like a homophobe - and yes that’s what I actually call cheap and low. Laughing at another man and questioning his masculinity because of his hair color in the veil of a ‘joke’

Honestly, this is such a simple concept that people are overcomplicating for no reason. Everyone has different comfort levels with different people .. that’s literally how social dynamics work. Some folks can pull your leg and you’ll laugh, some you can tolerate, and some you can’t even imagine near your personal space. That doesn’t make you a “party pooper,” it makes you a person with boundaries.

So why is Gaurav being judged for asserting his?

His personal space isn’t a democratic decision where the housemates or audience get to vote on what should or shouldn’t make him uncomfortable. If Farhana or Malti’s behaviour crosses a line for him, then he has every right to address it. Basheer not reacting doesn’t automatically invalidate Gaurav’s discomfort. People process teasing differently; some shrug it off, some speak up .. both are valid.

And honestly, if others can freely joke, tease, or comment, then he should be equally free to say, “Hey, this isn’t okay with me.” Boundaries aren’t one-size-fits-all, and they definitely aren’t defined by the loudest person in the room.

It’s not a mazaak of him though, it wasn’t that deep, everyone did it, including Pranit. They weren’t making fun OF him they all literally did it with each other. I just don’t see it as that deep. Certainly not akin to sexual harassment almost and bringing up Bajaj lifting Farhana - like that is in no way at all the same equivalence, because that’s what I’m reading from some posts and it’s ridiculous with all due respect.
