What did he do? I saw him somewhere in CID. Absolutely nothing sp. Can't remember I saw his wife ever in any serial. Although I found out she worked in Swaragini... Where? I saw that serial. But the way husband and wife portraying themselves...busy... don't have 5 minutes for BB .. shooting... I mean where ? Anupama is still going on... That girl Anupama has like dozens of men...none is promoting themselves like this guy and his wife. Itna kaam kar rha hai that they don't have time for baby, family life...where? Where are they working?đ
So You donât like Gaurav or his gameplay.. fair enough. You donât think heâs a âsuperstarâ .. thatâs also your personal opinion and fair enough..
But saying âWhat did he do? Where is he working?â is just ignorance dressed as criticism.
The man has worked in 10â15 shows as a lead, then there are lots of episodic dramas, special appearances, and initial phase of supporting parts for over the span of more than two decades. Not every show has to be a TRP chartbuster to count as work .. thatâs not how the industry functions. His shows were not Trp toppers or long running but they did good enough for him to get back to back work opportunities...
What matters is that he has been consistently employed, cast back-to-back, and trusted with major roles long before Anupama happened.
Calling that ânothingâ only exposes how little you actually know about his career...The fact that you personally didnât see his works says more about your limited TV viewing, not his work ethic, not his success, and definitely not his credibility.
And as for that Anupama wale comparison..that show is gone to trash..there is nothing to defend there...yes, the character Anupama may have ten men orbiting around her storyline,
but letâs not rewrite history here...
To pretend that Anuj Kapadia wasnât one of the most celebrated, loved, iconic male leads on ITV in recent years is nothing short of blasphemy.
The impact Anuj Kapadia createdâŠThe cultural craze, the romantic benchmark, the âgreen-flag heroâ phenomenon in the initial phase at least..that didnât happen by accident. It happened because Gaurav Khanna played the role with such sincerity, charm and maturity that people still talk about it.
And letâs be very honest the initial glory of that character, the love he received, the fanbase he built, the TRP impact he hadâŠthat is commendable...and what is the problem in promoting himself...they are not some Nepo kids where the entire industry would talk about them and promote them ..so unhe khud hi apna promotion karna padega...and what is the problem if GK promoted himself after receiving the much deserving mainstream success he got in Anupama....
And about Akanksha......
I don't know what you are talking about...I have not seen Akanksha calling herself a 'star' or a successful popular actor anywhere...but she is an actress....not only Swaragini, she was also there in Kaise mujhe tum mil gaye.yes she was not the Main lead ..and she was one of the main characters in the show "bhootu"....The fact that you haven't seen her work doesn't mean that she has not done anything....Akanksha not being a "main lead" is exactly why her schedule is rigid.Main leads often get flexibility because the production adjusts around them during emergency.Supporting actors, parallel leads, or character actors donât get that privilege. If they take leave, and shot requires their character , shoots donât stop for them ... they simply get replaced... specially in a time when even the leads are getting replaced overnight ...
So yes, she cannot drop her work, beg for leave, or risk losing her project just to satisfy some random viewerâs misconception of who is âbusyâ and who isnât... This is not how this cut-throat competitive industry functions..
And seriously, why are you so invested in their family planning?Whether theyâre busy, whether theyâre not, whether they want a baby or donât ..itâs THEIR prerogative. THEIR marriage. THEIR timeline.... Isn't it? No celebrity or any human being owes strangers an explanation about when they should have a child.
Lack of awareness is fine., personal preference or opinion is also fine but Lack of respect is not.
If someoneâs achievements arenât visible to you, maybe itâs time to broaden your horizon not belittle theirs.
