So true. All expectations are from girls, right from a young age. I have seen very few boy moms who teach their sons basic skills. That's why even if they lift a finger to help their mom they are put on a pedestal or if they do the same for wife they are called a joru ka ghulam

It is so necessary to talk about all these things before the wedding takes place. Instead, all they talk about is lovey dovey stuff first, then the actual wedding plans...matching outfits, jewelry, decoration, honeymoon etc
