Parth is still her grandson and did turn up; he simply isn’t the main lead of his generation as it was presumed previously.

They even changed his mother and also are showing him as having been raised within the family wherein he also got to spend some time with Baa as was the case with the episodes with Om and Parvati.

They probably did this because the budget required to make sure that Smriti, Hiten, Gauri are all series regulars alongside Amar and any other returning cast members would’ve been huge and they probably don’t have that kinda budget allocated to them.

Because you cannot keep Parth in focus without having his parents around and they’re not going to come cheap. Certainly not as a package deal. If they tried to avoid it by killing KN then too there would have been a lot of complaints and hate towards the show from the fans.

Initially makers were not even considering KN in the permanent cast because of the budget. Later they thought of retaining them after seeing the response. And then they thought of bringing Parth. Parth was never part of their original plan. Their main plan was to somehow show Mihir Tulsi as parents of Gen Z kids so they brought adoption angle to that too by making Anupam Kesar bali kaa bakra

We don’t know that. No articles mentioned anything anywhere about Hiten Gauri not being included until fans demanded it.

Fans want them back even now as series regulars but they’re not; so it’s not a case of fan demands being met obviously and this was not the case even before.

Trps of old shows. I can’t believe Kahin To Hoga was aired at 11pm because it was such a huge hit and had a huge craze despite it being airing at such late timing. I thought it was a prime time show knowing how popular the show and Jodi was and now an iconic show.
