I’m not saying GK is the epitome of humility either but after surviving and succeeding in an industry as demanding as Indian television for over 21 years, leading multiple shows back-to-back, isn’t he allowed to take pride in his journey?if he calls himself a “superstar” or takes ownership of his success, that’s not arrogance .. that’s earned confidence.GK also has worked for every ounce of his recognition ... he didn’t inherit it

I have been continuously saying i am celebrating the melt down of his fans on reddit and twitter and celebrating their crying cuz they did the same when baseer got evicted. She is getting support because she is with front benchers only, sorry but it’s the truth. The moment she allied with them all her past crappy behaviour is forgotten . Now it’s all about how cute Pranit and Malti are.

Warna why forget all the vile crap she has spewed, how is what she has said any less than Farhana. She came into the house with the same attitude as Farhana and actually made the same nakhre as Farhana. Kunicka wasn’t nasty to Malti to begin with it was Malti who was difficult.

Exactly this. In reality Baseer can speak and put his points across better than GK, why not tell him one wkv that you come across as weak, like a chelaa. Useless Mridul ko kuch dialogue pr shahbaashi mil sakti hai and GK can have weeks to begin playing but god forbid they tell a contestant who started off well to begin with something or acknowledge him

As for Nepo Amaal - like GK started from scratch, music composing acting nahin hai that you can wing it. He has talent and it’s proven. It’s so competitive and hard to make it as a composer - yes more competitive than even TV.

There is this pre conceived notion about splitsvilla or MTV contestants but they do what they had to make inroads.

I’m not discrediting Amaal for his talent or success - some of his songs are genuinely timeless and will always be on my playlist. But it’s also unfair to pretend that contacts and access due to his family background didn’t help him.

India is overflowing with raw, brilliant talent - every year we see extraordinary singers and composers emerging from SaReGaMaPa, Indian Idol, and independent platforms. They get applause for a few months and then disappear because the industry doesn’t give them the same visibility or network support.

Amaal, like many star-kids or insiders, still had to work hard .. no one’s denying that .. but he started from a platform of privilege. The average struggler begins ten steps behind. I do respect Amal for his songs and talent...Whoever achieves, whether insider or outsider, has to slog - but the starting line isn’t the same for everyone.

Naah, "tu mere season me aayi thi" clearly implies that BB19 is Gaurav Khanna ka season that means no other contestant is significant as he is or he is the biggest star of this season in BB19. "quality of contestant is shit" also did not mean that Baseer saying that others are not as popular as him, he clearly meant the other players aren't playing on front foot like in previous seasons, he was clearly calling out their bad game play out of frustration with bad choice of words nothing else.

But because it was said by baseer who belonged to the negative gang so it was taken out of proportion. Would Gaurav be humiliated for the same like farah humiliated baseer despite the implication of that statement? No because GK is their favourite but baseer wasn't. His statement was taken out of proportion while GK will be hailed for the same.

Also baseer ka statement can also be taken in a context like he explained that he came in a wrong season subtly calling out makers favouritism towards others ( if we are talking about context, both the statements mean the same by GK and Baseer). Both are if protagonists of their own story, both statements showed arrogance. You can't call out Baseer's statement while justifying what GK said, because that's hypocrisy. Doesn't matter what the context is. It's the same thing said using different words.
