Sulakshna Pandit passes away yesterday nov 6th, who was Popular Singer & Actress of Hindi Film, Mainly in 70's & 80's era.

Sulakshana Pandit (12 July 1954 – 6 November 2025) was an Indian playback singer and film actress who worked in Bollywood during the 1970s and 1980s. She belonged to the Mewati Gharana. Pandit was the elder sister of the music director duo Jatin-Lalit and former actress Vijayta Pandit.

Sulakshana Pandit's sister, Sandhya Singh, was murdered in 2012. She went missing on December 13, 2012, and her skeletal remains were found near a marsh in Navi Mumbai in January 2013.

The case involved the arrest of her son, Raghuveer Singh, who was later acquitted of all charges in 2021 due to a lack of evidence.

According to recent interviews with her sister, Vijayta Pandit, the family kept the news of Sandhya's murder a secret from Sulakshana for over a decade, fearing it would be too great a shock for her, as she was already in a fragile state of health. Sulakshana Pandit passed away in November 2025 without ever knowing the truth about her sister's death.
