“What I meant by “purposefully fumbling” isn’t that the makers sat down and said “let’s ruin the season,” lol. It’s more like they made choices knowing full well what those choices would do to the narrative, and still went ahead with them.
They have too much control over the edit, evictions, task placements, wildcard timings, and even character portrayal to not know what the consequences COULD be. The team’s are that big for a reason.
Yes, it might’ve started with one bad call. But at some point, it stopped being accidental and became pattern. Like, there were so many other ways to shape the game if they wanted drama or TRPs, splitting Nehal and Baseer into separate weeks, creating tasks that trigger those dynamics, using WKV to stir tension rather than neuter it, etc.
So when I say “purposefully fumbled,” I mean they knowingly discarded compelling arcs, despite having better options. And that doesn’t feel like a misstep, it feels like a decision.
So to like clarify - I think you slightly misread what i meant by “purposefully fumble,” iI didn’t mean the makers are intentionally sabotaging things for no reason 😭 i meant it more like: they clearly had certain goals or narratives in mind, and despite that, they chose a really poor path to reach them. Like, it’s baffling that with all that control, they still ended up making decisions that actively work against engagement or good drama.
Plus when I said “purposefully fumble,” I didn’t mean it literally! It was more of an exaggeration, like how we often say things dramatically in texts to express frustration. But the route they chose just doesn’t make sense narratively or entertainment-wise. So the “purposefully” part was just me being dramatic out of confusion, and they have jobs as a creative team for a REASON.”
“Apt observation. I agree with each and every word mentioned here. The makers knew exactly what they were doing with the narrative setting and rigged nominations, which then led to unfortunate evictions. Clearly they have certain contestants that they wanna drag till the finale. For that, ek ek karke sabki bali charhegi.”
Did not get it, kis context main baat ho rahi hai?
