Episode 20

HOD(seeing Parvati had a smile): Parvati

Parvati(in a calm tone) : Good morning sir.

HOD: Good morning by the by your class tutor told me that you stopped coming to college after semester holidays and she has contacted your father and he has told you got married and you will not come back to college.

Parvati: sir while I was in semester holidays my father brought a alliance for me and I got married but now.. (before she tells)

Adidev: haan I am her husband. Sorry I don't know anything about her education as our parents arranged our marriage suddenly I too married her. Yesterday only I got to know about her education hanging mid way. So please sir allow her again inside the college to continue her education.

HOD(showing the chairs): please both of you sit.

Parvati and Adidev sat in the chairs.

HOD: Give your ID card parvati.

Parvati gave her ID card were he checked her student ID number and saw his computer and typed her ID and checked her information in system.

HOD: So as Parvati didn't come to college after semester holidays 15 days for her is marked as absent. So this attendance percentage will affect her so for this in this semester she should not take anymore leaves then only she will be able to write her 3rd semester.

Adidev: She wont take anymore leaves sir.

HOD(with a smile): okay so tomorrow join your class again Parvati.

Parvati(hearing it with emotional smile) : Thank you so much sir.

HOD: you are welcome.

Adidev: Sir one more request.

HOD: haan tell me.

Adidev: Actually my father in law is not okay for Paru's education to be continued after marriage, so she cannot stay with her parents for now. If I make her stay in my house in Viramgam none of us will be always with her and it's not safe for her to stay all alone in a bungalow. So she needs a place in hostel.

HOD: okay can you sign as her guardian?

Adidev: yes of course.

HOD: can you show your marriage certificate?

Adidev: I have softcopy can I share it?

HOD: yes(he took a note pad and wrote the office email address of college and showed it to Adidev) : please share it to this E-mail address.

Adidev shook his head as okay and he checked his email for the soft copy of their marriage certificate and he shared it to the email address that HOD gave.

Adidev: shared sir.

HOD checked the email and then checked the marriage certificate and then he took the official letterpad and he wrote something as a paragraph in it and signed it in the bottom and tore it and gave it to Adidev.

HOD: go and show this to hostel warden she will arrange for room for Parvati.

Adidev: Thank you sir.

Parvati: Thank you sir.

HOD shook his head as okay. Parvati and Adidev got up from there and came out.

Adidev: where is hostel building?

Parvati: Haan let me show.

Adidev: mmm

Parvati started to walk towards hostel were Adidev too walked with her. Finally they came to ladies hostel building were Adidev showed the letter HOD gave to warden were warden seeing it took a application from her tray and wrote some details and after writing it showed it to Parvati and Adidev.

Warden: You sign it near Applicant (seeing Parvati telling it and seeing Adidev): you please sign it in the place of guardian.

Parvati now got the Pen and signed in applicant place and gave pen to Adidev were Adidev getting the pen and he signed as her guardian and gave the pen and application to the warden.

Wardan(checking it and saw Parvati): you alone come with me let me show your room.

Parvati shook her head as okay and started to move with warden. Adidev called to the driver and told him to bring Parvati's luggages and he told the route to ladies hostel. In the next 10 minites Parvati came out with the warden and she saw adidev.

Parvati: saw the room it's neat and tidy I can stay here.

Adidev(with a smile) : good I have told driver to bring the luggage he will bring it now.

Parvati: haan

When she told that was the moment were Nanvati came running towards her and came and hugged her.

Nanavati: Parvati I am so happy to see you back.

Parvati(too hugged her with smile) : I am too happy Nanavati. (They both came out of the hug)

Adidev saw Nanavati with a questioning face Were parvati seeing Adidev face.

Parvati(showing Nanavati) : My close friend my classmate. While I went to see room I called her and told I am back to College so to see me she has come.

Adidev: Hmm okay (seeing Nanavati with smile): Adidev parekh.

Nanavati: haan I know you sir I came to your marriage.

Adidev: That's nice.

Nanavati(now seeing Adidev) : Sir can I tell you something?

Adidev: haan.

Nanavati: you are handsome.

Adidev(with a fun smile) : Haan thank you and you are too very beautiful.

Parvati (now seeing Nanavati and Adidev conversation and seeing Adidev telling Nanvati beautiful now somewhere she got jealous and in thoughts): why I am feeling like this? I am getting jealous seeing the way Adidev is talking to Nanavati.

Adidev(showing Parvati to Nanavati) : You take care of your friend. Any problem for her immediately give me a call. (He told his phone number to Nanavati)

Nanavati dialed the number in her phone and saved Adidev's number in her phone and Adidev too got Nanavati number and saved it in his phone.

Parvati(seeing the way Adidev is very casual in talking to Nanavati in thoughts): To me too he has never talked this much (again thinking about herself): haan whenever he talked you didn't talk to him parvati now Nanavati is speaking well to him so he is speaking well to her.

Nanavati: okay any problem I will call you sir.

Adidev: haan (seeing Parvati) : you too if anything needed give me a call. Have my number know?

Parvati: Haan I have it.

As they were talking it the driver brought Parvati's luggages were Adidev now saw Parvati.

Adidev: okay all the best both of you finish your M.tech with flying colors.

Parvati and Nanvati shook their head as okay.

Adidev: okay bye.

Telling it Adidev started to move from there. Parvati saw his back were a smile with thankfulness was there in her face.

Episode 21

Once Adidev left from their sight Parvati now saw Nanvati with a smile.

Nanavati: okay lunch hour only come let's go to canteen and have lunch and talk rest of the things.

Parvati: wait let me keep my bags in my room and come.

Nanvati shook her head as okay were Parvati carried her bags and went inside the hostel. It was next 5 minutes were she came out of the hostel and she walked along with Nanvati.

Adidev now came out of the college along with driver and got in the back seat and dialed to Ria.Once Ria picked the call.

Adidev: Ria my work is over. I need to come back to Mumbai check for the next flight tickets if it's not available arrange my journey in private jet.

Ria: sure sir will get back to you shortly.

Adidev: Haan (telling it he cut the call).

Nanavati and Parvati were now sitting in the canteen facing each other were there was two complete meal plates in front of both of them.They started to have the lunch.

Nanavati(seeing Parvati now) : Can I tell you something?

Parvati: haan

Nanavati: Mangalsutra sindoor in forehead really you are looking gorgeous.

Parvati now gave a calm look.

Nanavati: Adidev sir is very good looking guy and you are also so beautiful really god has made a perfect couple.

Parvati hearing it now thought about Adidev were the way he handled her education was somewhere showing him as a hero to her.

Nanavati(seeing Parvati not responding anything): Hello madam.

Parvati(now saw Nanavati with a coming to world face): Haan

Nanavati: what went to dream land with your husband?

Parvati(managing herself): no.

Nanavati: when he came to marry you that time due to your education getting spoiled you didn't like him. Now also you don't like him?

Parvati(now with a light smile): Haan I didn't like him when he came to marry me. Even when I tied the knot with him I never liked him.While we were together too whenever he tried to talk also I didn't like him but the moment he made me to study knowing about my studies know I saw god in him really he is gem.(Without to her control her face was showing the happiness)

Nanavati(seeing happiness in Parvati face) : nice to hear that, so love came for you on Adidev?

Parvati(now seeing Nanavati): It's not love and all. I thought him wrong but he is not wrong. For the way he brought me back to college I am having a thankful feeling on him that's it.

Nanavati: Haan your opinion on him changed know same like this one day thankfulness will change as love too. (She smiled saying it)

Parvati: It's not easy for love to happen between us so without talking about it let's finish lunch and you go to class. From tomorrow I will join the class again.

Nanavati: Mmm okay.

They both started to have their lunch.

Ria gave a call back to Adidev were Adidev picked the call.

Adidev: haaan Ria

Ria: Sir there is no flight tickets available for next flight sir. So I have arranged for private jet. I will message you the boarding details.

Adidev: Okay (he cut the call)

It was next 5 minutes he got the details of boarding of the private jet. Seeing it and seeing the driver.

Adidev: Driver go to IIVM aviation.

Driver: Okay sir.

ADIDEV MANSION

Finally it was 5 o clock in the evening when Adidev entered his Mumbai house. Getting to the aviation company and boarding a private jet and finally landing in Mumbai and telling his driver to come for the pick up and finally he came to home and entered the home.

Were as he entered now suddenly he remembered Parvati were he got the thoughts of her not responding to him whenever he talked to her were now he got a light smile thinking about her talking to him.

Adidev(to himself): As her education got spoiled in the middle due to our marriage she thought me as a villain itself. She thought I came and spoiled her education and thinking that she didn't want to talk me too. I did this marriage itself for Maa only why I need to spoil her education? At least now she understood know that's enough (telling these things to himself he got in the stairs to go to his room)

4 DAYS LATER

In this 4 days Parvati got back to her classes and was taking notes of all the missed classes and she was happy with her friends and she was back to her education track. She started to spend time in computer labs writing softwares. Her hostel too got set for her.

Today was Saturday and college was on leave and most of the hostel girls were out to their hometown. Parvati was sitting in the bed in her room in hostel were she now took her phone and took Adidev number.

Parvati(to herself): let me call him and tell everything is fine here. (Before calling again changing her mind to herself) : let me message him(again changing her mind to herself) : No no let me call him and tell.

Finally making a decision to call she dialed to Adidev number and kept the phone in her ears. She was having a smile in her face were she was curious to hear Adidev's Voice

He told another girl she was beautiful. Parvati felt jealous. Now she will appreciate a compliment for herself too.

Feelings have changed. She wants to call and hear his voice. He is missing her a little too.

Episode 22

Adidev who was working in his Laptop now saw his phone that was ringing being in his table. He seeing the display and getting it's Parvati now took the phone and picked the call.

Adidev: Hello.

Parvati now hearing his voice had a happy smile in her face.

Adidev(not hearing any response): Hello.

Parvati(now hearing his voice again and making up herself): Hello I am Parvati.

Adidev: haan I know I have saved your number. Is everything set?

Parvati: Haan everything set and thank you.

Adidev: For what?

Parvati: For making me study again.

Adidev: see you don't want to tell thank you to me and all. It's your life and you have all the rights to decide your education, career and everything.

Parvati(feeling him being a man who gives woman her freedom now in a Mesmerized tone): Can I ask you something?

Adidev: Haan.

Parvati: when they told you I am the bride and when you married me you liked and only married me know? (She was somewhat wanting him to tell that he like her)

Adidev(with a casual smile) : maa wanted to see me married and she chose you so I married you that's it.

Parvati now hearing it had a sad face were she never expected Adidev will tell this answer.

Adidev: okay I am having some work we will talk later okay.

Parvati: Haan.

Adidev cut the call and continued his work.

Parvati(now took the phone from her ear as soon as she heard the cut tone and to herself): He married me for his mother's words only. Haan what is the need for a big businessman to like a village girl like me? (telling it to herself and again to herself): parvati the feeling you had on Adidev is just thankfulness that's it. Due to that thankfulness you liked him. He too does not seems to have any feeling on you so don't develope any unwanted feeling on him just concentrate on studies.(telling it to herself she took her book and started to study)

2 WEEKS LATER

Everything was going fine. It was evening and the college was about to over were the professor was about to finish that day portion were everyone in the class were taking notes. Finally Professor finishing the portion and left the class and all the students were getting out of the class to leave to home and hostel respectively.

Parvati and Nanavati too got up and started to walk out of the class.

Parvati: Nanavati let me also come with you I need to take xerox of some of my codings to submit it tomorrow morning. Afternoon I went to our college stationary and the xerox machine was not working he said it will be ready by tomorrow afternoon only.

Nanavati: haan come I am going to bus stand only know after you take xerox let me get bus and leave to home after that you go to your hostel.

Parvati: mmm okay

Both Nanavati and parvati came out of the gate of the college and they walked towards the xerox shop near to their college. Going to xerox shop Parvati gave the pages which she need to xerox to the shopkeeper. He went to take those xerox were Nanavati and parvati started to wait until the xerox is done. As they were waiting they heard a voice calling "parvati"

Both Nanavati and Parvati hearing the voice turned and saw were Parvati's father Raman was standing with anger face.

Parvati(with a what to react face) : papa.

Raman(in anger tone) : what are you doing here?

Parvati: Papa Actually my husband was okay to continue my studies and he only made me join the college again and he only made me join the hostel to stay.

Raman: Again and again You are behind this studies only know? This moment you should be in mumbai as Adidev's wife you should be a house wife this moment, only that will give respect to Adidev as well as me. If People see you studying here and Adidev being in Mumbai they will laugh at me telling I have raised a woman who is not fit to be a house wife they will tell me that your daughter leaving her husband and going behind studies. Come with me I have to do a decision for this?

Parvati: Papa please my husband itself does not have any problem in me studying.

Raman: Problem is there Parvati my respect is going because of not raising a good daughter (telling it he held her hand and started to pull her with him)

Nanavati: parvati(seeing Raman) : Uncle please leave her

Raman(seeing Nanavati): Don't come inside our family matters. (Telling it he took Parvati to the taxi in which he has come to Ahmedabad and made Parvati to sit in the back seat and he too sat next to her and saw driver): Go to home.

Driver now started to drive towards their home in Shivpura village.

Nanavati now had a what to do face were that moment the xerox shopkeeper gave the xerox copies Nanavati got it and paid for it and then keeping the xerox copies in her bag and then took her phone. Checking for Adidev number and then she dialed to him and kept the phone in her ear.

Adidev was narrating a business plan to his managers and was telling how they need to work in the upcoming days were that was the moment his phone rang being in the table were be saw the display and getting it's Nanavati and seeing everyone

Adidev: Give me a sec(telling it he picked the call): hello

Nanavati: Adidev sir I am Nanavati.

Adidev: haan I have your number tell me how are you?

Nanavati: Sir I am fine only but Parvati(she now started to tell everything that happened she told about them coming out of college for xerox due to xerox machine repair in college stationary and the way Parvati father saw them and telling Parvati she should not study and the way he took Paravti to their home in shivpura village)

Adidev(who didn't expect this problem now taking a deep breath) : okay don't worry I will take care of it.You go safely to your home okay.

Nanavati: mmm okay sir.

Adidev(cutting the call and seeing everyone): Let me continue this meeting after 2 days I am caught in a personal issue so excuse me.

All the managers shaking their heads as okay and moved from the room. Adidev thought what to do next in Parvati issue.

PARVATI'S HOUSE

It was evening 5.30 when the taxi stopped in front of Parvati's house. Parvati's father got down from the taxi and gave the taxi fee to the driver and then opened the back door and held Parvati's hand and made her come out of the taxi and almost dragged her inside the house and brought her to the hall and left her hand. Parvati now balancing herself stood well.

Raman(in anger tone) : Jaya jaya.

Jaya who was in the kitchen hearing Raman voice came out and now before reacting to Raman now seeing Parvati.

Jaya: Parvati how are you here? Have you come with your husband?

Raman: No no she has not come with husband she has come to complete her studies.Today to sell the tomatoes I went till Ahmedabad know that time only I saw her in front of her college.The woman who needs to be behind her husband and take care of his needs is behind studies. Instead of being in Mumbai she is in Ahmedabad and continuing her studies.

Jaya(now hearing it with a shocked face seeing Raman) : what are you telling?

Raman: haan ask your daughter?

Parvati now saw Jaya with a silent face were Jaya now bit got anger on her.

Jaya: what papa is telling is true?

Parvati again stood silent.

Jaya(in a shouting tone) : I am asking you only Parvati what papa is telling is true or not? Are you staying in Ahmedabad and studying again?

Parvati(now seeing her mother) : Haan

Jaya(now getting anger started to beat her on her shoulders and back) : what I told you forget your studies and I told you to concentrate in your marriage life know? Again and again why are you pulling problems in your life Parvati? (She stopped beating and saw Parvati with a what to do face)

Parvati(now with tears) : Maa please try to understand

Jaya: Parvati I don't want to understand you are the one who need to understand. Haan you wanted to study and you studied somewhat know? When alliance came what I told you I told you to forget about studies and I told you to concentrate in marriage life right?

Raman(now with anger) : she wont listen to any of our words. For her only her education is important. Father mother family reputation or husband reputation in laws reputation are not important.

Parvati didn't know what to tell them or how to convince them without knowing what to do she ran towards the bedroom and went inside the room and locked the room and putting her college bag in the bed and sat in the bed and started to cry.

Jaya(seeing Raman) : Give her sometime Ramanji after sometime let me talk to her and after that let us send her back to Mumbai.

Raman: haan talk to her but after this she should never think to study jaya.

Jaya: I will talk to her.

Raman moved from there. Jaya now with a silent face walked towards the kitchen.

The time was moving were it was exactly 8.30 in the night were Jaya knocked the door of the bedroom in which Parvati was with the dinner plate in her hand.

Jaya: Parvati open the door.

It was next 10 minutes were Parvati opened the door were when Jaya saw Parvati she was in the same dress and her eyes said she has cried so much.

Jaya(with motherly affection held her shoulder and with a calm tone) : Parvati come.

Parvati with a not okay face came with her mother were Jaya made her to sit in a wooden sofa in the hall.

Jaya(showing the dinner plate) : Have dinner.

Parvati(in a worn out voice): Don't want..

Jaya(now caressing Parvati's head and in a calm tone) : Parvati when your father brought this alliance we both were shocked only. We thought your education is getting spoiled. I am really sorry for that Parvati but when everything was out of our hand what I told you we cannot do anything beyond this so I told you to accept this marriage with Adidev and told you to concentrate in marriage life. Again getting into your education why you are messing your marriage life? It's not about you Parvati it's your husband and in laws related issue. Now if anyone in village come to know about your studies after marriage everyone will tell this girl is not fit for marriage life.

Parvati: Maa my husband only made me join the college again. When my husband is okay with this what's all of your problem? I mean why should I give up my dream just because village people will not be okay with it. It means I need to live for society only not for myself correct?

Jaya: All these statement will be good for talking Parvati but it won't fit with reality. Once a woman gets married she need to take care of her husband. She need to take care of her in laws . She need to know that she is the pride of that family and she need to maintain that pride for family.

Parvati: If I become a software engineer you won't be happy in that maa? You wont feel proud of it? Papa also will not feel proud of it?

Before Jaya could respond

Raman: We won't Parvati.

Parvati(now hearing Raman voice got up and came to him now with emotional face) : why Papa?

Raman : Because I don't like you studying.Go and live with your husband that is more than enough for me.

Jaya(coming to Parvati) : See tomorrow get ready to leave to Mumbai.

Parvati(shaking her head as no): No Maa morning I am going to college only.

Raman(now with anger): Again and again you are telling about studies only know. (held her hand and seeing her) : let's start now itself let me leave you in Mumbai myself.

As he was pulling Parvati with him and brought her till the doorstep were now Parvati hit herself with a person well were Raman too stopped moving seeing the person before him. Parvati making up herself saw who she hit with were Adidev was standing in front of her with his calm smiling face.

She did not like hearing he just got married because his mother said so. She wanted to hear he liked her or was impressed by her.

Her father has a problem even though her husband is perfectly OK with her going back to college.
