Is Ashish a lucky mascot for four actresses?

Ashish Kapoor aka Dheer Kunwarsa of Saath Phere claims to play an important role in the lives of actresses Mansi Salve, Shweta Shinde, Aditi Pratap and Gunjan Walia. According to him all these four girls who've played his spouse on television have ended up tying the knot in real life.

"All my co- stars Mansi Salve from Saarthi, Aditi Pratap and my current onscreen spouse Gunjan Walia from Saath Phere and Shweta Shinde from Parivaar who were married to me onscreen either have got married or are getting married. I guess I'm lucky for my co-stars." gushes Ashish.

But do the girls think the same? Gunjan Walia says "Looking at his record, it might be fair to say that he's some sort of a lucky mascot for us. It's a strange phenomenon. However, having said that I'd liked to state that I was engaged before I acted with him."

Does it mean Ashish doesn't deserve credit for her marriage? "No, Ashish is a dear friend and a very nice guy. So, I wouldn't like to take any credit away from him," says Gunjan in Ashish's defense.

When asked for her take, a disinterested Mansi Salve said, "I really don't know what to say. Yes, I did get married at the time when Ashish and I worked together. If he thinks himself as lucky mascot then it's good for him."

While the girls have all found life partners, why is it that Ashish is still single? The actor says, ""I'm happy for them and wish that even I find an actress who is lucky for me and very soon even I find a real life companion.''

Aditi Pratap and Shweta Shinde were unavailable for comment.

Marriages they say are made in heaven, so heaven help you Ashish!
