Shaurya had a heart transplant? What was wrong with him? At least he is well now.
Shaurya doesn't know the reason he was given away. He might be less resentful if he knew the circumstances.

Yes. But they lied about their identity to the students. And students doesn't care to check their real identity.

Schools are gearing up for the quarterly exams. So special classes and coaching classes were conducted to enhance the performance of the students in the exams.
It is late evening. The whole class is busily studying for the exams in groups that are arranged in circles. In each group, there will be some toppers, some avergae students and some slow learners so the toppers can help them study for the exams. Devi, Rajveer and Shaurya were classmates but as per the school rule, boys and girls are not allowed to talk to each other and so the groups doesn't have a mix of both sex. Since all the three were toppers, they were put in different groups.
Devi is teaching the concept of Young's Double Slit experiment to her group.
Devi - "In Young's double slit experiment, it shows light acts like a wave. When light goes through two slits, the waves overlap and create bright and dark fringes."
Devi's classmate - "Wait, isn't that diffraction? The bending of light at the slits? So the fringes must be diffraction patterns."
Devi - "I thought it was interference, not diffraction. Now I'm confused too."
Devi is trying to read the textbook and still she is confused whether it is interference or diffraction. Devi looks for the teacher but the teacher is not there in the class.
"Excuse me,"
A voice comes from Devi's back. It is from a boy from neighboring group. It is Rajveer.
Devi gets shy and just gives a nod, with a fear of being caught for speaking to a boy.
Rajveer - "I listened to your conversation that you got some confusion in Young's Double Slit experiment. If you don't mind, can I clarify it because sir has left for his home and asked another staff to look after."
Devi is hesitant while Devi's friends nodded.
Rajveer - "Both diffraction and interference happen, but they're not the same. Diffraction just lets the waves spread out through each slit. The pattern of fringes comes from interference of the two waves overlapping."
Devi's classmate - "Ohh... so diffraction opens the door, but interference paints the stripes?"
Rajveer - "Exactly! Think of soap bubbles or oil films where the colors you see come from interference, not diffraction. Or noise-cancelling headphones where they cancel sound using destructive interference. That's what Young's double slit experiment proves - light is a wave."
Devi - "Thankyou so much, Rajveer."
Rajveer - "My pleasure."
Devi and Rajveer exchanged a smile.
From then onwards, whenever they pass by each other, they shared a little smile. They just made sure that no teachers notice their interaction.
Few days passed and it is Diwali.
Devi is helping her mother in drawing the rangoli. Devi's mother drawn the outline and asked Devi to fill the colors. Devi is also about to complete the rangoli and she is excited to click the picture of it as well.
Suddenly, from the air, ball fell on the rangoli and the colors were spread all over and it was totally spoilt.
Devi is sad and frustrated. She immediately ran outside with the ball to check who spoilt the rangoli. She saw Rajveer running towards to her surprise.
Rajveer - "Hi Devi. Happy Diwali."
Devi - "Happy Diwali, Rajveer."
Rajveer - "The ball is ours. We were playing football."
Devi - "Seriously? Your football has spoilt the entire rangoli. Devi moves aside to show the spoilt Rangoli."
The Rangoli looks no less than being swept by a broom.
Rajveer - "I am really sorry, Devi. Out of game, I kicked the ball too far."
Devi gives the ball to Rajveer but she is still sad and sits near the rangoli. Rajveer goes near her.
Rajveer held his ears and apologized once again, "Can we draw Rangoli once again? I will do the major part as a compensation."
Devi - "No need, Rajveer. Mom will come and she may put some simple design with the leftover color powder."
Rajveer - "I'll buy the color powder. Don't worry. We can do. It will be memorable for me as well."
Devi hesitantly said, "It's fine. We can manage with the leftover colors."
Rajveer and Devi chose a design and finalized it. The design is of a girl holding 'diya' (lamp) and her lehenga's floral prints will be enhanced.
Rajveer starts drawing the design with the chalk piece.
Devi wondered, "You draw really well."
Rajveer shied, "Thankyou."
Devi too helped him in drawing the design. They started filling the colors. Rajveer is spreading the color powder too much as he hadn't filled colors in rangoli before.
Devi - "Oh my god! If you fill color powder like this, even ten packets will end in a small portion. And the color spread is also not uniform on the surface."
Rajveer is embarrassed.
Devi taught him how to spread colors evenly and judiciously on the surface. Rajveer too spread the colors properly on the surface.
Devi's mom came outside. Rajveer stands up.
Devi - "Mom, this is Rajveer, my classmate. He accidentally throw the ball on my rangoli so he is helping me redesign it."
Devi's mom - "Oh okay. Namaste beta!"
Rajveer - "Namaste aunty."
Devi's mom gave some sweets to Rajveer and Devi.
Devi's mom - "After completing rangoli, both of you come inside and have some snacks."
Rajveer hesitated but agreed on Devi's mom's insistence. Then she left inside.
Rajveer - "Devi, your mom is very cool. I thought she will yell at you for talking to a boy."
Devi laughed, "They are not like that. They just want me to be transparent. Otherwise they are cool."
Rajveer smiled. As they are talking, they completed the rangoli and it came very beautifully. In the process, they too become comfortable with each other.
Rajveer - "Could you stand near the rangoli and give your phone? I'll take your photo."
Devi - "Sure."
Rajveer thought, "I too asked her phone just like that."
Devi thought, "Earlier there were a shyness but it disappeared now. Anyways."
Rajveer clicked a photo and shown her. Devi is happy.
Devi - "Thankyou Rajveer. I was very sad when the rangoli got spoilt. But you helped me redoing it."
Rajveer - "There is always a second chance."
Devi nodded.
Rajveer - "Happy Diwali, Devi."
Devi - "Happy Diwali, Rajveer."

Present (3 weeks before Diwali)
New Delhi
Mid semester exams are over and it has been a great journey for Devi so far in the college. Her freshers were good. Her seniors were good. There were some days when Devi and Rajveer pick up random arguments out of nowhere which created a public embarrassment for both of them. Otherwise, Devi is very chill in her college while Rajveer is dealing with his own chores.
It's the library.
Palki and Shaurya are in the library, doing their assignments.
Shaurya - "Thankgod, the mid semester exams are over. I miss the campaigns for the elections. I mean, socializing with people."
Palki - "Just stop it, Shaurya. I am glad that at least something called exams, stop you spending money on those so called connections, that you earned hard."
Shaurya - "If I become the president of the student body, everything will be my rules. I will prove that I am not weak."
Palki - "I know you're not weak and you know you're not weak. Is it not enough?"
Shaurya - "It's not enough. Everyone should know."
Palki stopped writing her paper and looked at Shaurya.
Palki - "What if everyone get to know that you're not rich people but you guys were orphans who were raised in chawl by your foster parents? Do you think that you will have any power at that time? Or even, will you have your so called connections with you?"
Shaurya - "Why are you always thinking negative, Palki? It won't happen."
Palki - "Do we know that we would be lovers when we was 10 years old?"
Shaurya cracked into laughter, "This girl math is too complicated. You and your girl logic. God!"
Shaurya burst into laughter such that people in the library started staring at them. Palki asked him to control. Shaurya excused himself, "Sorry" from all, and went to the balcony of the library with Palki.
Shaurya - "Palki, we being lovers, is destiny. You cannot compare some random events to our story."
Palki - "It's no use of talking to you."
Shaurya - "Then, shall we talk something useful."
Shaurya held Palki's hip and brings her to him.
Palki - "Shaurya, this is library."
Shaurya - "So what! Let us romance."
Palki pulled his ears such that he screams.
Palki - "If anyone see us like this, your connections will think that you're a love sick puppy."
Palki laughed.
Shaurya - "Should I care?"
Palki - "See who's talking."
Shaurya placed a kiss on her cheeks to her surprise. Before Palki could react, he kissed the other cheek.
Shaurya - "I can do anything for you, Palki. But don't ask me to sacrifice campaigning. And I believe that I am the most luckiest person as I got someone who knows everything about me but still back me without any expectations."
Palki smiled.
Palki thinks, "I understand you, Shaurya. I know why you were desperate but the direction is wrong and how will make you understand?"
Palki and Shaurya enters the library. Shaurya kept his hands on Palki's hip. As they see someone, Shaurya and Palki are shocked.
Shaurya - "Oh no! Dean India is here."
'Dean India' comes towards them.
Palki whispered to Shaurya, "Guess mam had seen us."
Shaurya - "Shushh!"
Shaurya and Palki wished, "Good morning, mam."
It is their university's dean Dr. Preeta Karan Luthra.
Preeta - "Both of you come with me."
Preeta took them to the balcony of the library.
Preeta - "Have you both lost your mind? I saw all the things happening in the balcony sometime back. Are you coming to college for romancing? This is the age for studying and becoming someone your parents will be proud of!"
Shaurya - "Only our parents? Not us?"
Palki hits his ankle and asked him to shutup.
Preeta - "See, your parents are the ones who are sacrificing everything selflessly so that you can pursue your dreams."
Shaurya - "But it doesn't mean that we should place ourself in the back seat, right?"
Preeta - "You speak smart actually. You should not keep yourself in the back seat but in the front seat along with your parents. Now, is it right?"
Shaurya - "Yes, mam."
Preeta - "So front seat and back seat argument is over. So until you make yourselves and your parents proud, why are you guys getting distracted? Then you guys will break up and then get into hatred and depression phase and spoiling your entire life?"
Shaurya is about to reply but Palki held his hands.
Palki - "Mam, you have always told us to learn from the mistakes. If we didn't even try anything, how do we do mistakes? Then how can we learn from it?"
Preeta laughed.
Preeta - "You guys are speaking sense though. But you should maintain the public decorum and importantly don't get distracted."
Palki - "Sure, ma'am."
Shaurya - "Sure, Dean Ind..."
Palki hits his shoulders and Shaurya changed it, "Mam.. Dean Mam."
Preeta stared at him and left the library.
Shaurya - "She is behaving as if she is the president of India. If I become Student Body's president, it will be a tough time dealing with her."
Palki - "But she is listening to us as well."
Shaurya - "Whatever."

Cafeteria
Devi is carrying two bowl of Tomato soup for her friend Durga and her. She is moving slowly to her friend's table.
Rajveer saw her moving towards the table. He wants to argue with her as a continuation of their yesterday's argument and he wants to make sure that he want to win.
As he suddenly appeared in the front, she accidentally spilled the soup on Rajveer's shirt. Devi's friend Durga comes to help her. Only when Devi is about to apologize, she saw it was Rajveer.
Devi - "Oh, Mr. Shameless has become Mr. Intruder today. Very good."
Rajveer - "How dare you to spill the soup on my shirt? You spoilt my shirt."
Devi - "I wish if it was intentional. Unfortunately not. Now you look like Mr. Clown."
Devi takes a tomato piece from the soup and gave it to Rajveer.
Devi - "Paste this red tomato in your nose which looks like clown's nose."
Rajveer throw the tomato peel.
Devi - "Did you get my soup to get bathed?"
Rajveer - "Just shut up! You arrogant and useless woman. You are a blind person. God has given you head but forgot to add brain into it."
Devi grabbed the mug and poured the water on his face.
Devi - "Just because I had brain, I poured water on you."
Rajveer raised his voice, "Hey!"
Durga moved Devi from there.
Devi - "I will settle the score for this."
Rajveer - "Before you could settle, I will settle the score."

Five days later
Rajveer is driving towards his house in his bike. He is returning from the party that was organized as a part of campaigning where Rajveer and Shaurya threw a feast for all the class representatives of the college's departments as they are the ones who have the power to vote on behalf of the class.
As he is travelling, he saw Preeta standing on the road. He stopped his bike near her and go to her and wished her.
Rajveer - "Hi, Preeta mam. This is Rajveer, student at Delhi University."
Preeta - "Hi."
Rajveer - "Mam, is there any issue so I can help?"
Preeta - "My car has been punctured and I am waiting for the mechanic to reach. But I will manage. No worries."
Rajveer - "Delhi streets are not safe for women, mam. I insisit, shall I drop you home?"
Preeta - "No, Rajveer. In this age, how can I sit in bike? Also you guys drive so fast. Also I need my car to reach college tomorrow."
Rajveer - "Let us do onething. I'll book a cab for you and he will drop you in his home. I'll get your car ready and leave it to your house."
Preeta - "No, Rajveer. Why are you taking the stress?"
Rajveer - "It's my pleasure, mam. And you're such a great dean for our college and I will be blessed if I able to help you. Please help me to help you."
Preeta smiled, "Your parents are very lucky."
Rajveer's face turned sad. But he quickly changed it to smile.
Preeta took her notepad and wrote her house address and give the paper to Rajveer. Rajveer immediately booked a cab. As the cab came, Rajveer clicked a photo of the driver and also the number plate of the car. Preeta smiled.
Preeta - "Thankyou Rajveer."
After 2 hours,
Preeta's house was knocked. Preeta opened the door and it is Rajveer. Rajveer handed the keys to Preeta.
Rajveer - "These are the keys, mam. The diesel tank was empty so I filled it, mam."
Preeta looked at the time. It is 12.45 AM.
Preeta - "God! Why are you doing these things? It's 12.45 AM. Why did you wait for such long?"
Rajveer - "It's okay, mam. The mechanic took some time to come."
Preeta - "I am so sorry as you have to do all this because of me."
Rajveer - "Please don't be sorry, mam. You are embarrassing me."
Preeta - "At least come inside and have some food. And it is an order."
Rajveer smiled and entered inside.
Preeta - "Beta, what do you want to eat? Had your dinner?"
Rajveer - "No mam. I will eat once I reach home."
Preeta - "How? Your face looks like you will fall flat if you see the bed. Should I believe that you will cook till 2 AM and eat? You need some energy at least to go home."
Rajveer - "But mam.."
Preeta - "I'll prepare dinner for you. Don't worry. It won't take time. Just give me 10 minutes."
Preeta entered the kitchen. After 15 minutes, she came with two parathas and served Rajveer.
Rajveer - "Mam, you food is so tasty."
Preeta smiled.
Preeta - "Where are you from, beta?"
Rajveer - "I am from Mumbai."
Preeta - "What are your parents doing?"
Rajveer - "My mother passed away last year due to cancer."
Preeta - "Oh, I am so sorry."
Rajveer - "It's okay, mam. And she is a single woman. So I don't have any father."
Preeta blinks.
Rajveer - "I mean, I am adopted by my mother. She is not my biological parent. My biological parents left me in the orphanage when I was born."
Preeta - "Don't worry, beta. Your biological parents don't know the gem they lost. And your adopted mother... I mean mother.. will be very proud as she raised a gentleman who is very compassionate and respectful."
Rajveer - "Thank you so much, mam."
Preeta - "And don't worry. If you need any help, you can come to me."
Rajveer smiled.

One week later
It was Devi's audition for the intra-college dance competition. Durga is with Devi.
Durga - "Devi, all the best. You will get selected for sure."
Devi - "I hope so, Durga. I am nervous as I am dancing after 4 years and I wonder if I get selected."
Durga - "You will do the best. Don't doubt yourself."
Devi - "Thankyou, Durga."
As Devi's turn came, she enters inside. She is also very nervous. 'Mere Dholna' started playing. She has also started dancing very gracefully.
Suddenly after the first stanza, the song changed to 'Jam Jam Jambura Jaadu To Seekh le Poora' (from Chhota Bheem: The Curse of Damyaan). The shocking change in the song interfered her flow and she fall down. She is clueless how to handle it. She don't know how the song got changed. She felt very embarrassed and ran to the judges and pleaded them to give another as the song file she gave to the organizers was changed by someone. But the judges refused.
Devi comes out crying. Durga comforts her.
Devi - "In my song file, someone had edited and changed the song to some funny song, in between. So I lost the rhythm and got black out."
Durga - "Who will change the audio file?"
Devi - "I don't know."
Durga and Devi heard a thunderous laughter from behind with claps. It is Rajveer.
Rajveer - "Did you dance for Chhota Bheem's song?"
Devi - "So you replaced the audio file?"
Devi is about to slap Rajveer but Rajveer hold his hands.
Rajveer - "Tit for Tat. Now, the score has been settled, you loser!"
Devi - "I'll let you know what I can do. What do you is not at all right."
Devi held Rajveer's hands and come towards the center of the college's canteen. Palki and Shaurya were also having their snacks there. They are shocked to see Rajveer with Devi.
Devi stands on the table and clapped her hands for everyone's attention.
Devi - "So ladies and gentleman! Do you guys know this fellow Mr. Rajveer Bajwa? The guy who is known for sponsoring so many parties for freshers and make you all believe that he is a very rich guy. This is all a lie."
People's shock was evident on her face. Rajveer tried to stop Devi but Devi rubbed his hands.
Devi - "This guy is a fraud. He is not any son of rich son. He belongs to low class chawl who is known for being very unhygienic. The ones you think powerful, has been fooling you all. The bike he flaunt must have been stolen from everyone. The grand shirts he is wearing, are all brought from Chandni Chowk which were second hand. Even their house is located in the most congested and dirtiest street of Chandni Chowk because they don't afford to live in a decent house as they spend their money to fool you. His aim is just to win the student body elections. Once everything comes under his control, he will use you for granted. And not only that, he may grab huge commission from the funds for organizing festivals. He is eyeing on the money."
Shaurya - "Just stop it, Devi. You cannot call Rajveer money-minded fraud."
Devi - "Oh wow! The friend came to support him. Not only Rajveer, Shaurya is also acting as a rich guy but he also belongs to a small chawl in Mumbai. Both these frauds are using you guys for granted. Don't fall into their trap."
Someone asked from the crowd, "How can we believe you?"
Devi - "Who cares if you believe or not as you guys are going to get exploited. Anyways, I was Rajveer's ex-girlfriend. I have went to his house and seen his lifestyle. And, he even left his girlfriend and do you think he will be true to you guys who were barely his social networks?"
Devi leaves from there.
People confronted Rajveer and Shaurya about the truth. Shaurya shouted, "Yes. We are not rich. So what?"
"Why did you lie to us? What is the need to pamper us with your money? Why did you always flaunt your false tatus when you want to get attention?"
"So it means you guys liked only our money."
"Don't try to guilt-trip us, Shaurya. It's you who flaunted your money to us. Even if you came with a normal conversation, we might have give it a thought. What you did is extremely unfair and wrong."
Rajveer and Shaurya got into fight with the other college students.
Palki tried to get Rajveer and Shaurya away with her and after a lot of protest, she managed to take them away.
She got them to a lonely classroom and made them sit. Before Palki could speak, Shaurya spoke.
Shaurya - "You were right, Palki. I was ignoring all the possibilities of getting exposed and now we got exposed to all."
Rajveer - "And everything is over, right? People will treat like trash just like we were treated before."
Shaurya - "Yes. We had become a failure. People will just talk to us only when they want to bully us or rag us."
Rajveer - "And they practice untouchability too."
Palki - "Guys, please calm down."
Shaurya - "No, Palki. We were all losers."
Shaurya and Rajveer get up from there and left the place.
'Roothee Roothee' song from Yeh Meri Family Season 3 played.
Rajveer and Shaurya stopped coming to the college. They took day offs and just were sleeping in their bed. They don't even have the guts to face each other's face. Most of the time, the lights were off. Palki's attempts to call them were in vain as they never attend the calls. Even when she visit their house and try to distract them, they both didn't give in to her. She just made sure that they are eating something.
One week passed and it is Diwali day. They didn't go to their house to celebrate Diwali with their parents too. They used to celebrate Diwali very grandly in the chawl. But they decided not to go. The lights of the house is also not lit.
The door was knocked. They didn't mind. She knocked it for ten minutes in different tones which irritated Shaurya and Rajveer so they opened the door.
It is Palki, dressed in new dress, holding sweet box. She smiled and shouted, "Happy Diwali, boys."
Shaurya tiredly said, "Happy Diwali, Palki." Shaurya hugged her and kissed her forehead.
Rajveer too wished Palki.
Palki - "See, what I got for you."
Palki shown two bags.
Palki - "This is your Diwali dress. Wear it and we're going somewhere."
Rajveer - "Come on, Palki. We're not in the mood."
Palki - "Mr. Rajveer, we're going somewhere and it is final. Just shut up and wear the dress. Else someone will not spare you both."
Shaurya - "Who?"
Palki - "You're asking too many questions."
Palki pushed Rajveer and Shaurya to the bathroom. Palki sweeped their house and decorated the house with diyas.
Rajveer and Shaurya too came dressed in the new costume but their face is still dull.
Palki prepared the pooja thali and made Rajveer and Shaurya perform a small pooja and they had a prayer.
Palki - "Now you both have some sweets. Then we have breakfast. My mom cooked specially for you both. If you refuse, she will feel bad."
Shaurya - "You know how to get things done."
Rajveer and Shaurya ate their breakfast prepared by Palki's mom.
Shaurya - "Now, let me know. Where are we going?"
Rajveer - "Yeah, Palki. Where are we going?"
Palki - "Be patient, guys. You will get to know."
Rajveer and Shaurya get into Palki's car and Palki drove to a small orphanage named 'God's Favorite'.
Rajveer and Shaurya get down from the car and Palki took them inside. To their surprise, they find Preeta inside.
Rajveer - "Preeta mam..."
Shaurya - "Good morning, mam."
Preeta comes to Shaurya, "You are calling me mam instead of Dean India. How cool is that?"
Preeta laughed.
Preeta - "Come on guys. I cracked a joke. You are allowed to laugh."
Rajveer and Shaurya laughed formally just for Preeta.
Preeta - "We came to an orphanage. So shall we play with the kids?"
They entered the hall of the orphanage. Many kids started running towards Preeta. Preeta hugged all of them.
She gifted some toys and crackers to every kid and wished 'Happy Diwali' to each. Rajveer, Shaurya and Palki too accompanied them.
Rajveer, Shaurya and Palki played with the kids in the ground for two hours. As the kids got tired, Preeta and Palki distributed snacks to everyone.
Palki - "Guys, shall we perform any skit to these children?"
Rajveer - "Yeah, why not?"
Shaurya - "But what will be the plot? And bro, we are not good actors. If these kids see us act, they will throw stones on us."
Preeta - "Come on, Shaurya. These kids are very kind. And acting doesn't matter here. Just perform something and see their reactions."
Rajveer and Shaurya performed a hilarious skit which is inspired on Tenali Raman's story where Shaurya played the role of Goddess Kali and Rajveer played the role of Tenali Raman. The plot is, Tenali Rama wondered on the multiple heads of Goddess Kali but only one hands where he questioned the Goddess if all her noses in her head sneeze, how will she wipe the mucus of each nose only with two hands.
Everyone including Preeta and Palki heartily enjoyed the play. Later, they served food for all the children.
After the lunch, Preeta asked Rajveer and Shaurya to come with her.
Preeta - "How is the day?"
Shaurya - "We felt very happy, mam. After a long time, we laughed and heartily forget everything surrounding us."
Rajveer - "Exactly, mam. This Diwali is the best ever Diwali, mam. We were sad earlier as..."
Rajveer and Shaurya turned dull.
Preeta - "I know what happened one week before. But will the problems get solved if you don't come to the college?"
Shaurya - "How did you know? Palki..."
Preeta - "No. It's not Palki. After all I am the dean of the university. And also, I have a source. But that's not important. So answer my question."
Rajveer - "We don't have the guts to come to the college."
Shaurya - "Since you know what happened in the college, you will be hating us, right?
Preeta - "No, beta. You kids take everything to the extreme... If something happens, you think people either hate completely or love completely. But the world doesn't work in extremes. Even in Earth, poles are not the regions friendly for living, right?"
Shaurya - "But what we did is also very much wrong."
Preeta - "You did that because you must have had a reason. I am not justifying what you did was right. I am neither calling it wrong. But whatever happened is happened. Don't dwell on the same incident."
Rajveer - "If we go, people will treat us differently just like how we were treated in the chawl and school for being poor and an orphan. They will eventually get to know that we secured the seat on merit so they even make fun of that fact too."
Preeta - "Rajveer, I honestly don't know why you lied it. But I feel there is a strong reason that looks right for you. But let's not talk about that. And one more thing, it is a pride to secure a seat on merit. If anyone make fun of your family or bully you, complain to me. I will take the necessary action on them."
Rajveer and Shaurya nodded.
Preeta - "So, will you come to the college after Diwali vacation?"
Rajveer and Shaurya looked at each other. Preeta shows a house that is made up of puzzle pieces. Preeta holds the puzzle house with her two hands.
Preeta - "Shaurya and Rajveer, this puzzle house's pieces are very weak. If I don't hold it properly, the whole house will get dissembled and pieces will fall on your knees."
Preeta give the house to Rajveer and asked him to hold it with single hand. He cannot balance it with one as it was lighter. Preeta plucked the chimney part of the house and put it to the floor. Rajveer stumbled but balanced holding the house.
Shaurya - "It's okay, Rajveer. Chimney is not that important. Just don't let other parts fall down."
Preeta played table fan at high speed so that the top roof falls down.
Rajveer used both his hands to hold the house. Preeta too didn't mind. Then Preeta hits the top floor and the pieces fell down. Rajveer too put the house down so it broke into pieces.
Preeta sat patiently on the floor and fixed the house once again and give it to Shaurya and asked Shaurya too perform the same task. He too put the house down as soon as majority of the pieces got dismantled.
Now Preeta was holding the same house and Shaurya to be the troublemaker of the house. Shaurya hits the house's chimney. As soon as it fell down, Preeta used her another hand to pick up the fallen pieces of puzzle and fixed the chimney.
Shaurya again made the ceiling of the floor fall down and when he is about to hit the top floor, Preeta defensively protected the house.
Preeta - "Fine. Let us stop it. What did you observe?"
Shaurya - "You didn't let us spoil the house like we allowed you to."
Preeta - "Exactly. Our life is also a house. When you are holding the house, you are you. And I am external environment. Just because the external environment harmed your house, it doesn't mean that you should stop fixing your house. The piece is right in front of your leg. One of your hands is also free. If you take the piece, you could have brought the house to the original form. Just like, you have solutions in front of you, but you refuse to see through them."
The boys were silent.
Preeta - "Just take an extreme case that the chimney's piece burnt so will you burn the whole house as you don't have chimney? You could have lost something but there is a lot you have and a lot you can collect i.e in front of you. Shaurya beta and Rajveer beta, please don't be like this. Your sorrow will just postpone things. It won't fix anything. Face everything and rise. Tomorrow is a still a fresh paper and whatever you choose to write is what written in the paper."
Shaurya and Rajveer, "You're right, mam. We promise you to face our reality."
Preeta asked them to take some rest and she leaves to the children.
In the evening, the children are bursting the crackers. The orphanage's owner Prerna Sharma and her sister Elena Sharma come to them.
Prerna - "Thankyou so much, Preeta ma'am. These kids were very sad as everyone outside has been bursting crackers. And this year, the funds and donations are very less so we cannot even afford to special lunch but you made this year's Diwali special for everyone including us."
Elena - "Thankyou very much, mam. You like children a lot. Do you have any children, mam?"
Preeta - "I am not that fortunate. God has given a kid but he was taken away at the time of his birth. I am still searching for him."
Prerna - "That's really sad, mam. We pray to god that your son will meet you very soon."
Preeta was gloomy. Rajveer, Palki and Shaurya took Preeta to the children and started bursting crackers with them. Preeta too forgets the despair for sometime and enjoyed with them.
