As you said--every day is a new beginning. What ever the name we called!
But, according to all information, Chaitra is the first month of every year. Chaitra first day is Yugadi, Gudipadava, hindu new year.
The 12 Hindu months are Chaitra, Vaishakha, Jyeshtha, Ashadha, Shravana, Bhadrapada, Ashvin, Kartik, Margashirsha (also called Agrahayana), Pausha, Magha, and Phalguna. These months are based on the lunisolar calendar and correspond roughly to the months of the Gregorian calendar, with Chaitra being the first month of the year, which starts around late March.
In Vaisakhi / Baishakhi in India, the festival will be celebrated on April 13th, marking the joyous occasion for farmers, Sikhs, and Hindus alike. Baisakhi is celebrated for multiple reasons: Harvest Festival of Punjab – In agrarian states like Punjab and Haryana, Baisakhi marks the time when wheat crops are harvested, and they celebrate it as new year as well!
Exactly 💯, well said!
