So it is indeed attached in the movie
I follow his reviews from time to time and I disagree on many events.
I was wondering if he and I saw the same movie (Thamma)
I have watched the movie and I liked it a lot. I disagree with so many critics. It made me wonder, if I and some of the reviewers on youtube were talking about same movie.
One will enjoy this movie if they can view it as a standalone film in the universe, rather than comparing it to the other movies in the series. It is unique in its own way.
I liked the story. The humor was decent, and I was smiling a lot. I thought it went dark in certain places and not comparing it to be dark like VD or The Conjuring darkness.
The introduction of worlds was fab, I was laughing, when Censor board made them change Alexander to Sikandar, but well in US theaters with English Subtitles, it was Alexander. The bear scene was wow man, and the fight btw Bediya and Betaal is amazing. The insults they threw at each other were funny. They spend money on VFX when its needed even in the world that was built.
Alok's realization about Tadak, I think it was well done. Mystery about how Alok turned Betaal was cool.
I am glad Alok's acceptance of his change did not take forever. The second half killed it. I liked the first half too, the slow building of the world on both sides.
Alok's was smitten by Tadaka, he was in his own world and missed so many hints, and so was she; they realized their deep feeling only when it came to doing something for each other. This could make someone feel rushed; deep love for some, if they had shown more scenes of their love, would have been easily understood.
Reg songs, well only half of the songs were actually shown in the movie,
I was a little disappointed with Nawaz, I needed more from him. When Jana made a comment about Alok, saying hey bittu, it took me a moment to understand what it meant.
Ayush did not disappoint me, I loved him in Andhadhun and Rashmika was good.
Some were talking about females being used as male eye gaze, honestly i didnt feel that way. I needed more from Paresh Sir.
Underworld of Thamma, I need more of this. Fazil role was nice, I wish he had more.
May be Thamma 2? Loved the Ending and where it may go from there.
Movie is somewhat similar to Lokah Chapter 1 which was released recently ie the vampire part

I've no problem to watch two films in a row in a theatre (which now is easier with the Cineplexes).
Fine that this movie entertained you far better than the other. How was the interaction of Ayushman and Rashmika?
I actually maintained a gap of 3 hr between the two hehe..Came back home after EDKD which I went alone and went with family for Thamma!
Rashmika and Ayushman had a fine chemistry.Loved them together!
