Isn't that quite unfair? In Pathaan and Fighter, Deepika had a lead role.

During her pregnancy, she did two supporting roles (Kalki, Singham again) and Jawan, she did for SRK (and it was well done and an important special appearance).

Neither the Atlee movie nor King can't be judged yet.

Not liking someone shouldn't result in demeaning someone's work, not even the small bits.

Deepika’s last lead role was Gehraiyan, three years ago. Since then, she’s been reduced to blink and miss appearances, yet her fans act like every film’s success is single handedly because of her. As if her absence would’ve changed anything. It’s honestly unfair and pretty disrespectful to the actual leading ladies who put in the work, take risks, and carry their films on their shoulders.

Although I'm not a fan, I still value Deepika's contributions in another way than you. To me, she is the female lead in Pathaan and Fighter, casted opposite the leading male actors. Those movies are centered around the male lead character whilst Piku, Chhapaak and Gehrayaan are movies centered around the female lead character. In my opinion, that doesn't take anything away from the importance of her performance.

Well, if those kind of roles hold any importance for you, it just says a lot about how you view cinema. Sorry, but to me that’s demeaning and degrading to the actual art of filmmaking. Since she can’t act or draw audiences through talent alone, she settles for irrelevant roles alongside bigger stars and rides on their popularity. Producers have clearly seen through it, that’s why she keeps getting dropped. Even her own brand barely made 23 crores last year, while Kriti Sanon’s, a much newer one, made nearly 100. That’s the reality. Can’t even sell her own brand, yet keeps cashing in on others’ fame. If that’s what you respect, fair enough…but personally, I think she’s setting the bar embarrassingly low for actresses.

she was part of those movies. are you saying we can not even acknowledge her acting or presence in those movies just because she had a short role? kya zabaradasti hai. If people enjoyed her work they will appreciate it. no matter how much it bothers you.

Without Deepika,Anaitha is nowhere as succesful. Shaleena has given Deepika the distinct identity. LMVH who has many luxury names under its banner including Dior, chose Deepika as a jury to pick young designer. They like her style obviously. Shaleena was personally invited by LV and Nicholas and LV,with flowers for their show. Everyone wanted DPs MUAs,Daniel and Sandhya.. and after being dropped.. they barely get any high profile stars. Everyone hates DPs makeup though.

Look at Meta using Deepika's voice for India. Like she told Shereen Bhan.. she doesn't listen to others. Shereen the managing editor of CNBC..went to MP to interview,Deepika. Just an actress?
