The Aviraj arc, as it stands, is not contributing anything meaningful to Krushal’s fandom growth; in fact, it’s doing quite the opposite. A character with zero depth, hollow motivations, and charcoal black actions — a role that he himself himself cannot fully inhabit naturally — cannot build admiration or excitement among viewers. For many long-term fans, it feels like a betrayal of the actor’s potential, a downgrade from the sophisticated, layered character of Anirudh they’ve loved him for in the past.
Instead of stemming the damage, these impulsive public gestures accelerate the loss of credibility. Fans who once championed him for his talent and choice of complex roles are now left frustrated, watching him cling to mediocrity and blind validation. The problem is compounded because new audiences and casual viewers aren’t bound by nostalgia; they evaluate him based on the present content and behavior.Aviraj doesn’t add value, public outbursts don’t add value, and selective reposting of loyal but blind fans’ praise certainly doesn’t add value. If anything, it’s actively harming what he had painstakingly built.
