But that’s a good thing, no? Isn’t that exactly what you all celebrate in your fandom year after year? Mocking = people talking = good thing? Or is it jealousy now that someone other than Deepika’s getting mocked? Lol.

nope not at all. enjoy. Its all Alia's. she deserves it.

There aren't only negative comments about Alia receiving the award when one reads the comments under the link Torino posted. Not only here, there are people who found Alia's performance award-worthy.

Nevertheless, the Filmfare Awards have lost their credibility long time ago, imo. And like other Awards (Zee or Screen e.g.) Filmfare are commercial ones given by a media outlet, not by a film academy or something similar.

Personally, I'm happy for Kartik, Abhishek and Lakshya...all three performances named are praise-worthy. For Alia, I'm not happy because far too many people make it clear that they think she didn't deserve it in comparison to other nominees. In the end, that isn't positive for her.
