That's an interesting idea and explains a lot of my impression I got from Alia's performance that didn't touch me one bit but came across - to me - as 'showcasing an act' (the only one who impressed me had been the underutilised Vedang).

Kabir Khan also in the Jury team... and Kartik getting a popular award (instead of a critic's one)... gives a strange note to his award (deserved imo).

Edit: I read that this is the jury for the "Short Films" awards... but I doubt, that it was only for that part of FF Awards...

Actually, I noticed that this award function again made me annoyed about the way the FF awards deserve e v e r y joking about them... trying to get SRK as co-host through this strange "special award" about the 90ies ... getting the Bachchans to come all by that "50 years Sholay" award... and now knowing that Karan even was a jury member... no, absolutely a no-go to me. It even taints the awards for Kill... sad...

Yami was spectacular in A thursday. she deserved NA for it imo. but anyway she is way better than Alia.

Kriti won NA along with Alia. so they are at same level.

The thing about Alia fans they know she didn't deserve it, they point fingers at everyone to try to change the narrative. She has literally made the Filmfare be known as useless, her and Karan. It isn't just us, it's not just reddit but everyone on social media is mocking her. She honestly a whole joke, I am sure the industry are tired of her. That is why Twinkle herself put her on the spotlight on that episode.
