Alia Bhatt is being roasted on Insta on Jigra BA post

It reminds of a recent Mukerji interview where she says she would rather be the one not awarded but audience saying she deserved it than the other way..seemed like a shade on Alia winning earlier for RRKPK..and now with Jigra, the internet is surely not taking it easy. Alia has limited her comments on the post but even then you can see majority are calling her out for being undeserving.

Tbh what is even the point of winning awards when 70% of the audience is calling it undeserving. It is rather embarrassing tbh.

She is getting cooked on X as well. If Jigra had found its audience on OTT atleast, this would never have happened.

Rani won Best Actress for Hum Tum the same year we had performances like Urmila in Ek Hasina Thi, Aishwarya in Raincoat, and Preity in Veer-Zaara. She got her second Filmfare Popular Award for a flop, probably the first actress to ever do that. She should honestly be proud of Alia for carrying on her legacy of winning popular awards for flop films.

Because at that time FF would weigh in the BO performance of a movie as well while giving main popular awards and humtum had a solid performance from mukerji so why not? Urmila and Aish's movies flopped and Preity did not get good feedback for Veer Zaara so it was never going to happen. Zaara was the Mastani of 2004. Dull and one dimensional to the T..no layers in this character or performance to get any awards. She looked gorgeous and thats about it.

Black was not a flop.

Boi keeps going back and quietly changing old box office verdicts. The movie was a flop when it released, no matter how much they try to rewrite it now.

Hey cougar , do you think Shradha was more deserving as the movie was a blockbuster

The rest of the performances beside Alia were pretty much mid , and none of the movies were a clean hit
