South Africa clinched another victory. Again a close game.
I must give credit to Bangladesh as well. They did well first with the bat and then with the ball. Dropped catches and missed stumping costed them the match.
Cheers..

Sri Lanka Women have won the toss and have opted to bat
Sophie Devine: We don't mind bowling first. The bowling attack was fantastic against Bangladesh. It's going to be similar here, in slightly different conditions potentially, but we're really pleased that we finally got a win on the board, we know today is a new challenge. Just one change - Illing comes in for Tahuhu. Just think the match-up with Illing against Chamari is obviously a key one, some of the stats suggest that she goes okay, so we're really excited to be able to bring in Bree again.
Chamari Athapaththu: We decided to bat first. Last two games we struggled to chase and conditions are good for batting. We have two changes. We have to play positive cricket in the middle and as a batting unit we have struggled to do that. I told them we're playing good cricket in the last 12 months against the best teams, but this is the biggest stage, so we don't want to put too much pressure on our shoulders. Just play your natural game, that's the important thing, because there are a lot of youngsters in my batting unit, I don't want to put too much pressure on their shoulders.
Sri Lanka started well. New Zealand is leaking extras. Almost one a over.
SLW 52/0 (9.5) CRR: 5.29
Congratulations to Chamari for her half century.
Sri Lanka 147 for 2 in the 34th over.
CRR: 5.16
Match delayed due to rain
6.53pm local: It has started to rain and the covers are coming on. Start of the chase will delayed. Coming down heavily at the moment and the whole ground is being covered.

26-ball fifty by Nilakshi de Silva is the fastest fifty for Sri Lanka Women in ODIs, bettering her own 28 balls against India at the venue earlier this year.
Related to yesterday’s match but this broke me
Especially the way the last girl was crying 😭😭😭
BD-W playing so much better ODI than their men side did in the last 3 years! Had they somehow won vs ENG and SA, great chance for semis + tight slap on the male ODI team’s face
All covers except one have been removed. They're running what looks like a mini-version of a supersopper over that last remaining cover. Oh dear, just when the lengthy process of removing the covers was about to end, the rain seems to have returned. Covers being rushed back on.
8.20pm local: The umpires are out there, carrying out an inspection of the outfield. A lot of the covers still haven't been removed completely. Umpires now having a chat with the head groundsman.
8pm local: Rain has stopped and one of the umpires is standing on the covers, monitoring the activity from the groundstaff. 9.50pm is the cut-off time to start a 20-overs chase. Covers are now being removed. This is going to take some time with plenty of covers out there, and a lot of water on them too. But the groundstaff are very efficient and have got the process nailed down
I expected them to win both matches. They lost narrowly.Originally posted by: JustRandomGirl

The difference experiences make. They could not held their nerve towards the end. Yesterday’s fielding in the end was a pain to watch 💔
