As they are going through the divorce Atya & Manini keep asking Parth to marry Ramya, they go as far as to print cards and Parths’ is unhappy about that. But someone secretly records Kavya during counseling session where she confesses to having a ex bf and Ramya shows that to Parth.So when he confronts Kavya he’s pretty mad that she hid her past. Kavya says that she tried telling him but something or the other kept happening. He then accuses her of being a fraud and in a fit of rage says not only will I divorce you but also marry Ramya .

In the serial at least by episodes count they get divorced pretty quick - maybe a month..The Tamil serial moves pretty fast , for context by episode 335 or so, KP have been divorced and married. Marathi serial it’s episode 280 and neither of the couples have said I love you to each other

So from Parths pov the divorce thing is pretty messed up. Kavya asks parth to sign the divorce papers pretty early in their marriage which he does but she doesn't file as as I think he asks for time to prove himself as a worthy husband. There is a point in the series where Kavya tears up the divorce papers by mistake which Parth finds and thinks divorce is a no go (this is after he saves her life from a fire, takes her to the exam center between riots, cooks for her etc..). Right after she tears the papers up, she unannounced follows him to Hyderabad, where he's on a work trip as she misses him and they spend romantic time together. so from his pov its all good. so he's pretty shell shocked when she hands him the divorce papers again , that too on his b'day (that scene is pretty brutal ). Even as they are going through the divorce when Atya speaks ill of Kavya , Parth stands up for her. So when he finally finds out about the ex bf, his patience breaks and his attitude is more of idgaf about anything anymore. So its less pressure from mom and more of i could care less and some of it to of course to hurt kavya as payback for the hurt she caused him.

Kharach , Parth and kavya are really adorable when they are together . That’s the USPnof the show

I dont know why they turned jeeva into completely useless character. Like he is good for nothing without Nandini. Just to make Mata great they turned jeeva into a dumb fellow. There is so much power gap in their relationship and he looks and act like her child. So their relationship is also not interesting. But parth and kavya on other hand are equal in their relationship. One does not overshadow other in their marriage.Thats why they look good and attract audience.
