silvy, two episodes already aired..build up seems nice...FL isn't shown as cookie cutter..tries to get even and doesn't care about insulting her step-mother & father professionally and personally...leads got chemistry even though filmy at times but bearable so far..
not a bad start..FL mother has some usual insecurities about the future of her daughters especially the eldest one who is meek but the back & forth with the FL is comical lol..its on zee toh usually apna wohi rule of thumb of no expectations hahahaI;m ambivalent over the way his character arc his developing though...i'm glad that the FL is a no-nonsense one but the character arc for the ML, especially when he's supposed to be smitten by her but the expressions seem off-putting like he's about to cry or something...FL does have her flaws at times but she's does her self-reflection moments which i like...i like the ML's interaction with his mother but seems like bridges are going to be burned since the misconception is now developed..Originally posted by: capricornrcks

practically, sidhu shouldve cleared the air that he's interested in someone else when his mother kept on asking while he was resting his head on her lap..
ML's just being limited to being smitten by the FL...today shekhar tried to apologize to siddhu's sister for slapping her which lead to her abortion and her father's paralyzed condition and wasn't able to touch her feet..
if only the ML's arc can be improved..
Siddhu is very expressive and shows all his emotions on his face. In the original the ML is more reserved and stern though he's equally smitten. ML's arc will improve as he tries to befriend Sneha. He's already started lying to his mother. Now his lies will get more and more elaborate and you can see him running around trying to hide his real identity with two fake ids. Also he will deal with the greedy fiancee very cleverly.
The ML's friends had more to do in the original. Pujari had a unique trait of being meek and clever and calculating till the sun sets. Then he'll start drinking and be a complete terror and give all the wrong advice. There's also this rivalry between the friends called Naga and Mongoose(in the original) for being the ML's best friend.
siddhu does wear his heart on his sleeve but unable to develop even a communication with sneha...its just like he's being a "mann jogi" wala character for now...dunno how he's gonna react when he finds out about shekhar being a good friend to sneha and her family...siddhu does have a tendency to overreact when his mother tells him to do something if a loan isn't paid on time...where sneha is going wrong was judging siddhu's mother based on shekhar & his mother's narrative so it seems like she's oblivious to the fact shekhar unintentionally being responsible for aborting his child ...Originally posted by: capricornrcks
