It's Mona Singh who plays Aasmaan's mother...so, no, she's not the original dancer in white in the Gupt movie song

Aryan did a fabulous work... a cornucopia of what made/makes the Hindi Cinema 'Bollywood'... with all the emotions a Masala film can evoke.

It has no head or tail it’s like a series of spoofs / cameos stitched together that don’t lead up to much …reminded me of that rani movie aiyaa actually …quirky for the sake of quirk with a plot that goes nowhere …overproduced

Hurling abuses and innuendo in every other word does not make it “edgy”..it’s quite sluggish when it comes to pacing too..

It’s not fun, charming and witty like OSO and neither is it nuanced and layered like Luck by chance…it really does try hard to be like both …

There is a lot of meta references and patting urself on the back stuff like wankhede, maheep telling shanaya to not be like aryan and smile at the paps, “arrongant and pompous” episode, Roundtable between insiders and outsiders , arjun and raj banter …but none of those meta references landed for me as jokes …like why are aamir and Rajamouli arguing abt vada pav and how is that funny? 🙄…wtf was that massage parlour sequence ? that baashah dialogue with srk …? Kjo overacting toh is next level …

The only genuinely funny moment was that side character guy singing kaho na kaho in Arabic when emraan hashmi

It looks like something a 16 year old would write and shoot for YouTube ..not something that should be on Netflix

Also srk legit looked like Michael Jackson in his clean shaven face in the last episode …

I loved the twist

Now that I think about it, this song was playing when Bobby and Asmaan's parents meet at success party of Revolver

Then I was wondering how is Asmaan getting away with being rude to Karishma in front of Bobby

It all tied up with the title of the series which they revealed after the twist

Liked the show. Had some very funny and meta moments. Best celeb cameo was Ranveer in episode 1, particularly in his rivalry with KJo. The Ranveer scenes are all going viral and getting the most praisef.

Online it was said that SRK, Salman, and Aamir will share screen space together but that didn't happen. Salman's cameo was so small and inconsequential.

Was confused about Filmfirst. Could they not get the rights for Filmfare lol. Also found it absurd that the biggest star in Filmfirst (besides SRK) was Rajkummar Rao.

Also Shanaya Kapoor cameo has convinced me she can't act. She couldn't even act in her cameo here, so why would anyone want to see her in a real movie. IAK's cameo was also really annoying. I actually thought he was good in Sarzameen but this cameo makes me regret feeling that way lol.

This is the same actress as in the show or did they superimpose the show's actress onto the face of the dancer in the song?

I think they superimposed Mona's portion in the old song like they did in Om Shanti Om's Dhoom Tana song
