CID2 Fate Hanging In Balance

So India's Got Talent is starting in October. Right now no idea on what will happen with CID 2.

Hmmm... I really want to know what the channel is planning with CID. We already have another show at 10:30 on Saturday and Sunday. So, either they rearrange show timings or simply scrap CID.

I sometimes wish they had brought CID as an OTT show. At least we would have been able to watch it on time instead of regular delays?!

Or would've even been good as a weekday show for half an hour Monday to Thursday

I Hope CID 2 Doesn't End

The support that's pouring in for CID2 on X and other SM sites is huge. CID2 might just trend again after the whole ACP Pradyuman death debacle. Plus a lot of people are correctly pointing out that CID2 is the biggest TRP pull for Sony TV right now in the fiction space, so they would be idiots to end it again.

The best choice for Sony would be to shift the programming a bit. Maybe have CID2 at 8:30 to 9:30 or shift IGT to earlier so that CID2 stays at 10 PM.

The channel is very lazy with regards to CID. Most of the times the show isn't uploaded at the time they say at sonyliv and even on tv it comes 5 to 10 mins late mostly. Its very annoying when you sit to watch and the show isn't on air. Also they don't promote as much. Other shows get bytes, promos often but cid doesn't get that much... I mean it's not really regular. They do it once a while which again makes the audience not really aware. Even with all this, CID has managed to gain a stable trp which shows that the show has a loyal audience.

I hate Sony from the core of my heart for doing the same thing with my CID again

CID is good on Netflix. If they axe CID, then I hope CID still keeps coming on Netflix. It will be better for CID also.. makers can explore the characters more independently and add deep crime stories. But I just hope that CID doesn't disappear :(
