Neither the exodus and killing of Pandits nor the riots in Kolkatta nor many other things shown in movies are simply fiction... but the way one tells what happened is important especially when the history part is quite recent and fresh in the individual memories... Agnihotri has a personal agenda which is also driven by a certain thinking based on partiality and cultural/religious bias which these movies clearly reflect. He isn't the only filmmaker/storyteller where hate and bias cloud the narration but a quite arrogant one (latter in my feeling).

Saw the movie very disturbing and depressed 😫

Too much violence in the scenes showing the atrocities

performance wise good they could have trimmed very slow moving

Religion would obviously reflect in K files because it was the major factor behind the attrocities faced by Kashmiri pandits. I do not know about Bengal files, so cannot comment.
