Also, the Book Besties badge has been assigned to all Buddy reading teams that finished their assignment of reading 2 books (one suggested by each member of the team) and participated in discussing them.

Please note that there is an issue with the badge right now and it's not being displayed. The issue has been reported to the tech team, and hopefully will be fixed soon!

Moving on to the results of the Reading challenge.

Before I announce the MVP and the winning team, a shoutout for all 3 team captains - heavenlybliss, oh_nakhrewaali and missFiesty_69 for their patience and due diligence in guiding their respective teams, posting reminders and generally just being awesome!

Thank you, ladies, especially for your understanding when people sign up and don't log any pages in the month or when you have to chase down members to post their logs/ reserve their posts. I do try my best to assign all teams with active participants (now that I kind of know everyone's reading pace), but it does happen that an absentee gets assigned to your team and as a result your team's total suffers. I know we're all competitive and like to win, and so props to you all for understanding that life happens and sometimes you get lemons (instead of a winning siggy).

Alright, so here are the team totals!

Team Bookaholic Yaars posted a grand total of 31806 pages!! Congratulations and very well done!

Team Lexophile Dosts ended with a decent 34470 pages! Yayy, go team (my team!)

And the winning team (and it's no wonder because they had some Reading monsters on this team!) is Team Pageturner Bhidus with a whopping 48372 pages!

Woot! Woot! Go, you guys!

And now for the people who I'm convinced never sleep or have some kind of superpower because these totals? Unbelievable!

These 2 gals are doing it time and again (tell us what magic spells you're using ) so full props to them for managing life and still not letting reading fall by the wayside!

Give it up for Parm (WildestDreams) and Vera (missFiesty_69)!

But honestly 2 pages is nothing. I had a new chapter update on one of the fics I'm following. Wo hi read karleti to bhi ho jata . I read it on 1st Sept instead so iss month ke log mein dala

(Btw, we are finally in the same team... itne mahino baad! )

Same I was reading a book & by the time I finished it was Sept 1( around early morning), so thought I'll log the rest half in September.
