Better Blood Pressure

Pets provide companionship that eases loneliness and depression, increase physical activity by encouraging walks and play, and lower blood pressure and stress hormone levels, contributing to a more active
Dogs specifically have been proven to reduce stress, anxiety and depression, ease loneliness, encourage exercise, and
improve your overall health.

No doubt about it: Animals can make people feel good. And your favorite ones can also help you stay well. You may be surprised at just how many ways a pet can improve your health.

You still have to watch your weight and exercise. But having a pet can help you manage your blood pressure. In one study of 240 married couples, pet owners had lower blood pressure and lower heart rates during rest than people who didn’t have a pet. There is no doubt, pets boost health and mood.

I never owned any pets. Tried but it never materialized.

Hopefully one day I will get there.

Cheers..
