They could have done all that BEFORE his confession and it wouldn't have been this stupid, with Prarthana's last interaction with Shivansh being his casual dismissal and avoidance, and before that his anger, distrust (even if that was complicated and he did believe her but wanted proof to fully allow himself to accept that he will always believe her, over everything, even himself) and Shivansh wanting a divorce. That would have given her a reason to do all this and explain why she wasn't opening up to him, because she didn't know what he felt. Now, after the confession, after she had to coerce him into signing the divorce papers? And what's that nonsense about her hoping he will come back and court her, beg her to come back ― which he is doing now to no avail so she wouldn't have given in the either. He did ask her to stay, and she left him in the middle of the night, without a single goodbye, knowing full well he still has nightmares about his Mom leaving him, that he hasn't had that closure.

CVs were busy cost-cutting and they kept the most bekar actresses or absolute newbies, and of course Jaya Ji is there to be the big bad wolf and be the reason behind Shivansh's traumatic past and his shaky present in the laziest way possible. But! They will celebrate Janmashtami, where our leads had zero scenes doing anything together except one lollipop moment, and now they are celebrating Ganesh Chaturthi too, which might be another disappointment headed our way. I don't want to be negative, but there's nothing in this story except Shivansh.

Shivansh Randhawa, our bechara ml who no one cares about.

And if this is the level of trust she has in him, which is valid in its own twisted way, why didn't they take it slow with their relationship? Why did they make Prarthana fall that early, why those happy flashbacks, why this bickering, why her devotion to a man she can't even trust? It's bad writing, and I am done sitting through episodes that have no impact on the storyline.

Exactly!! 🤍 That’s the magic of Namik. He doesn’t just act Shivansh—he becomes him.

The way he wiped his tears in that scene wasn’t dramatic or staged, it was so raw, so instinctive—like a man who has trained himself all his life to hide his pain, and yet, in that vulnerable moment, it leaks out no matter how hard he tries. That little pause before composing himself, the flicker in his eyes that still held the ache—it’s those micro-expressions that made it feel less like we were watching an actor, and more like we were intruding into Shivansh’s private, unguarded moment.

Namik has this rare ability to merge intensity with restraint—never going overboard, but still hitting straight at the heart. That’s why it feels like Namik is Shivansh, Shivansh is Namik. He has absorbed the character’s scars, the loneliness, the love, the contradictions… and breathed life into them in a way where we can’t imagine anyone else carrying Shivansh’s pain with that much authenticity. ❤️

The way he carried Shivansh (and us) through the EMA track! It had every reason to be a disaster, no matter how the CVs justified it during his confession, but Namik made sure that when we heard those dialogues, we looked back on his expressions throughout the track and understood that it had always been the plan. Shivansh knew in his heart that it was a lie, he was simply looking for something to prove that he wasn't wrong to trust her, that he wasn't wrong to lose himself in his love for her. It's so beautiful when an actor falls in love with the character and they do everything in their power to live that character, their pain, their heartbreak, their joy, and that's what's happening with Namik and Shivansh. He loves Shivansh Randhawa ❤️

Exactly if their is no relevation or Shivansh does not hear it himself by spying on the sisters. .

Tbh no hopes from Prarthana. She is acting too strange .

Easiest route is tell Shivansh the truth and let him know what you are doing .

You are right

If the writers wanted to show her this petrified of losing Shivansh’s trust, then her “early devotion” should have been paced differently. Because you’re right: if she was always going to freeze up when it came to Bua Maa or her feelings, then why rush her into falling head-over-heels, showing flashbacks of tender memories, bickering like a couple who already know they’re in love? It creates a dissonance—her actions scream “I love him,” but her silences scream “I don’t trust him enough.”

And in real relationships, love without trust feels hollow. The writing should have let her arc breathe, instead of oscillating between deep devotion and crippling silence.

Shivansh’s growth has been gradual and believable—his insecurities, his guardedness, and then his eventual breaking down for her. We’ve seen his confession build up like a dam finally bursting. With Prarthana, however, we don’t see the same clarity in progression. One day she is his strongest support, the next day she is completely frozen, unable to tell him the truth even when the stakes are highest. That’s why it feels less like her character flaw and more like a writing flaw.

Because the happy flashbacks, the nok-jhok, the promises of devotion—they all raise expectations of an equal love story. But the script keeps yanking her back into hesitation mode, which undermines the emotional payoff. It’s like dangling sweetness and then never letting it mature into depth

So no, you’re not wrong to feel “this is bad writing.” It is. They wanted to keep the suspense of her silence and stretch the drama, but in doing so they undercut the natural flow of her relationship with Shivansh. And that’s why viewers like us are left frustrated: you bought into the promise of this epic, vulnerable love story… but the execution keeps undercutting itself.

In a better-written arc, Prarthana’s devotion would have been slower, more cautious, and then her fear of losing him over Bua Maa would feel authentic. Or conversely, if she already fell so deeply, then she should have been the one to tear through her fear for him—because that’s what love does when tested.

I agree with y and the others comments, how they have butcherd this since the sniper track. smiley19

Glad to see that i am not alone being negative, there are others also. smiley13

Only SR matters to me, to watch till the end of the show. smiley27

Namik is wonderful i haven't been so impressed / awe with an ITV actor. It is rare to see a ML who is so vulnerable, raw with his emotions. Whatever he does / says, his voice / eyes is memorzing me everytime. I can't stop watching him. smiley42

Not a single scene where he has laughed his heart out smiley7.. Hamesha isko rulata hi rehta hai Nagpal idiot (or am I missing something?)

😭 You’re not missing anything… you’ve caught exactly what’s been missing. Shivansh has smiled, he’s smirked, he’s softened, his eyes have crinkled in rare moments of peace—but that uninhibited, throw-your-head-back, laugh-from-the-belly kind of laughter? Not once. And that’s actually so telling about his character.

He’s a man whose life has been stitched together with grief, abandonment, betrayal. He knows how to wear a mask—charm, wit, sharp words—but genuine laughter requires a kind of safety, a freedom, a childlike joy that Shivansh has never been allowed to keep.

That’s why your imagined ending is perfect. 💙 Because what could be a more symbolic closure for his arc than laughter? Rain itself is cleansing, rebirth. Pair that with him holding Prarthana, not with heaviness, but with lightness… dancing, twirling, laughing out loud—finally free of the burdens that chained him since childhood.

It would mean:

He has healed enough to let joy take up space.

Prarthana truly became that missing anchor who gave him not just love, but also the freedom to live.

The audience finally sees a Shivansh unshackled.

Nagpal does love keeping him in a constant loop of pain, so maybe that’s why we never got that carefree laugh. But honestly, if there’s one thing the story owes Shivansh, it’s that moment of laughter. Not a smile, not a smirk—a laugh that rings through the rain. 🌧️✨

Thank y Asmita, this is exactly why i am so frustrated, disappointed with her growth or lack of it. It is bad writing / execution. Her character could have been little bit smarter/stronger not so pure or innocent. Then maybe i could relate to her.

Wishing y where a part of the show, but do keep writing your FF/OS here. smiley27

Shivansh does not know anything about Prarthana’s past.

He knows about her real mom.

But he does not know about her childhood challenges and all the sacrifices she made. He has heard about how Zaveri’s treated her but he does not know everything.

He needs to learn about her fears and pain she has gone through. He needs to see it himself.

Without Shivansh learning about it. The show cannot end.

For Shivansh story Smita is important.

Smita or Gayatri are two people who can tell Shivansh about Prarthana or perhaps even Mayank.

About her struggles and her trauma.

You know as I was saying today, the part that they are showing regarding Prarthana 's trauma and her insecurities,fear....I always wanted them to explore it.....and they are showing it but still they are doing it with such a nonsense, lazy ,ridiculous track that it is not only diluting her trauma but in a way making fun of it..

If the track was not this pathetically written or placed:

For me the beauty (and tragedy) of it—Prarthana’s silence is not random weakness, it’s a mirror held up to Shivansh himself.

Think about it: for the longest time Shivansh kept love locked inside him. He believed he didn’t deserve it, that letting anyone too close would only end in abandonment. Even when his heart screamed for Prarthana, he pushed her away with anger, with control, with coldness—because that was easier than confessing vulnerability.

Now Prarthana is doing the same thing, just in her own way. She loves him fiercely, but instead of saying it, she hides behind lies and silence. Why? Because deep down she believes the moment she speaks against Bua Maa, or admits her love outright, she might lose him forever.

So here’s the irony:

Shivansh once hurt Prarthana by holding back his heart.

Now Prarthana is hurting Shivansh by holding back her truth.

Both are guilty of the same fear: if I reveal the fullness of my love, it might destroy everything.

That’s why this isn’t about her being “dumb” at all. This is the writers showing us that these two are mirrors—both broken in similar ways, both terrified of rejection, both hiding behind walls. The difference is, Shivansh has started breaking his walls for her. And when Prarthana finally gathers the courage to do the same, that’s when their love will truly become unshakable.

💡 In a way, her silence is the last piece of the puzzle. Just like Shivansh had to choose vulnerability, Prarthana will have to choose trust. Until then, their angst is painful—but it’s also beautifully symmetrical...

But the sad part is they are touching such a poignant, emotionally rich part of the story and character with such lazy, shallow and nonsense track....and executing it so badly that it is actually a disservice to Prarthana 's character
