How long will Varun act and speak like the hybrid of Govinda and Salman?

I can’t believe Sanya Malhotra got relegated to a supporting role. But hopefully KJo promised her something big in return.

Varun is back to doing these overacting comedies. And yes, he’s always channeling his inner Govinda when he does these roles. It’ll probably be even more pronounced in the comedy he’s doing with his dad.

Movie will probably have great songs.

I like Varun in these movies but it just feels like the same exact Varun with the same exact expressions and nothing novel or new. I am sure I will enjoy the film as a time pass entertainer but just wish Varun did something more substantial. But seeing how films like Kalank, Sui Dhaaga and October (all of which I have for some inexplicable reason watched in theater) flopped, can I really even blame him for sticking to the formula that works for him?

It is like Tiger doing an action film for the nth time, ofc Varun's filmography is more diverse than Tiger's but the analogy being drawn between them is because they are coming back with nothing new but just the same old yet again. So do not feel any excitement to watch either, not that I would watch a film as gory as Baaghi 4 in the first place.

I’m really wondering what Tiger will do if Baaghi4 doesn’t work. Does he have anything else lined up?

I truly feel that when it comes to comedies or lighthearted movies Varun tends to copy Govinda too much. That’s why it always seems like it’s the same thing over and over. Of course this is by Dulhania director so that’s probably another factor in why it seems the same.

I’m hoping Sanya at least has a substantial role here.

I have always enjoyed his Dulhaniya movies but actors have to grow and evolve with time. He is not in his 20's anymore and the audience which loved him are not teenagers either. He was decent in Jug jug jeeyo but he has again slipped into caricaturish acting and voice modulation in the teaser.

Varun has played this kind of character and done these kind of movies so many times, and its going to be the same in his next film that David dhawan is directing. So its becoming boring, this teaser didn't interest me as its all been there and done that.

I'd only watch it to see what rohit and sanya are doing in the film, as thats the only different thing about it, and maybe the songs will be good

Kjo taking a break from their spy universe? LOL.... VD can act, since he isnt getting any hits, he is going back to doing movie, which he is good at "romcoms" and JK cant act, so lets see how it pans at the theaters
