| MUMBAI: Bindass, the youth entertainment channel from UTV, has announced a new show, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang (KKBB). The new show which features the eternal drama of men vs women at the workplace will kick off from 5 June at 9 pm and will air every Thursday. Elaborating on the show, Bindass associate VP and programming head Shalini Sethi said, "KKBB is the unending saga of man vs woman. It's a battle of the sexes that has been there from the beginning of time! Our protagonists have their individual beliefs in the superiority of their work." It is the story of Rohan and Rhea. Both work in an ad agency called Red Sun. Brilliant at their jobs, Rohan and Rhea are, however, poles apart. Their boss, Sam Mukherjee, thinks they rock individually and together they would be dynamite. But in reality, together they are nothing but a complete disaster. "KKBB was made keeping in mind this age-long battle and the current scenario in the Indian workplace where women profess to be equal if not better than their male counterparts. Our viewers will surely enjoy watching the battle being fought out and wait eagerly for each episode to learn who wins which encounter," added Sethi. KKBB has performances from Shweta Gulati, Akshay Dogra and Kenny Desai. |

It is said that men are from Mars and women are from Venus. Men can't understand women and vice versa So, men and women are like East and West. And Mark Twain also said that East and West can never meet.

Going great
Sun, Jun 8 12:50 AM
Shweta Gulati refuses to be stereotyped. She wants to play any role that pleases her, whether it means playing a modern day career driven woman or a homely-bahu.
Says Shweta, "All that matters to me is that I should be able to enjoy the work I'm doing." Shweta made it big on TV with her role as the rich spoilt Tia in Remix.
Now she is back with a romantic comedy on Bindass called Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, a romantic comedy that is is set in an advertising agency. The actress seems very happy with her new project.
"I liked the concept from the moment it was narrated to me." She's excited about her new grown-up role in the serial.
"I'm playing a smart, sassy business woman called Rhea." A character whose traits aren't too far from Shweta's in real life.
"I could relate quite closely to my screen role." The show documents the love and hate relationship between men and women, hence the title.
Talk turns to the shooting of the serial and she recalls how once shot a 15 page scene at one go. "Of course there were many retakes," she adds with a laugh.
Her hunky co-star is debutant Akshay Dogra and she's all praise for him. "He's very hardworking.
I enjoyed his company, he's an extremely sweet guy." She's hush-hush about life after Kiss Kiss Bang Bang.
"I have offers for many shows in the pipeline but can't comment further than that." What she's more than willing to talk about is her theatre experience.
She is currently working in a play called Aastha, which deals with human relationships. And she's really hoping that the play will be performed in Delhi.
