Nah, this both sidesim doesn't work. One side is openly racist, sexist, bigoted, is anti science, denies global warming, against healthcare and was open about wanting fascism.

There was a lot of propaganda and low IQ people fell for this both sidesim.

However the goals and policies of both parties are as different as night and day and none of this would have happened under democrats and their leaders and different senators are not crazy. Democrat leaders also don't micro manage their staff and let competent staff do their own thing.

After seeing how JFK junior is banning vaccines and spreading anti science propaganda and dismantling CDC why are people still spreading both sidesim?

I am still baffled there are people who still play both sidesim in 2025. No lessons learned I guess.

But this time, he isn't even looking for his own country. He is only focused on what he can gain in his last term.

His entire life has been conning people and using for his own profit. Every single person who sided with him his entire life is either in jail, bankrupt or attacked and disowned by him. Not a single big name from his first term is in power in second term.

Every sane person warned people about trump. All the prominent doctors, scientists, economists, noble prize winners, intellectuals warned against Trump.

Yet people believe and fall for this lying conman. It's baffling to me. They believed he cares for US. When his entire life he has been anti everything US stood for.

There was a time I used to think Indians overall are much smarter than Americans and much less prone to lies and propaganda as they have more common sense.

But after seeing so many Indians fall for Trump despite all information available and despite all warnings, it has made me change my views.

People’s belief in him despite seeing him incite crowds to storm the Senate building can be explained through a mix of psychology, politics, and media influence:

On 6 January, thousands of Trump supporters gathered at a "Save America" rally organised to challenge the result of last November's presidential election.

They listened as Mr Trump spoke to them on the National Mall, near the White House in Washington DC.

In a 70-minute address, Mr Trump exhorted them to march on Congress where politicians had met to certify Democrat Joe Biden's win. The attack began moments after he took the applause.

He lost in election, so asked mindless people to revolt !! This is after his first term.

The storming of America's Capitol building by rioters elicited plenty of responses. Here's what world leaders had to say - ABC News

Look at the Capitol Hill rioters. Now imagine if they had been black | Derecka Purnell | The Guardian

Supporters of US President Donald Trump, including Jake Angeli (C), a QAnon supporter known for his painted face and horned hat, enter the US Capitol [Saul Loeb/AFP]

Trump is accused of ‘incitement of insurrection’ after giving a speech before his supporters stormed the Capitol – seat of US government.

What to say about those people who elected him as the President of the USA for second time??

I was present in US during the elections, and I remember many Indians arguing with me—saying things like “Kamala doesn’t have the brains to rule such a vast country! He, with his business background, is the real capable administrator!”

But what did this so-called “administrator” actually do? He stopped funds to Harvard, one of the world’s most prestigious universities. He slashed education funding. One day he called Putin his friend, the next he declared him his biggest enemy. His leadership was a pendulum swing of contradictions and chaos.

So now I want to ask all those who dismissed Kamala—if she had won, America would have never been dragged into such turmoil. She might still have faced challenges, but she would not have acted as a destructor. She would not have inflicted the kind of damage this man has done.

Donald Trump twice rose to power by defeating women contenders—first Hillary Clinton, then Kamala Harris. His victories reflect not only political maneuvering but also a deeper, troubling reality: a global gender bias that empowered a destructive leader whose impact reached far beyond American borders.

For countless Indian families, sending children to the U.S. for higher education was a cherished dream, one pursued even at the cost of taking loans of 30–40 lakhs. The hope was simple—that an MS or postgraduate degree would pave the way to secure jobs and stable futures. But Trump’s policies shattered those aspirations. His declaration that international students must return home after their studies, coupled with restrictions on part-time work opportunities, placed immense strain on young scholars. Their daily lives, financial stability, and long-term goals were thrown into disarray—leaving not only students, but entire families, in despair.

Sexism runs deep in America and people don't see it because it's usually targeted at older women. In most sexist countries younger women are targeted too, but in America, generally young, pretty women are given a pass so people think America is not sexist.

However America hates older women, you can see it in the popularity of the Karen meme for example. Which is why extremely capable women like Hilary Clinton and Kamala are mocked.

Even third world countries like India, pakistan, Bangladesh, sri lanka and many more have had women Prime minister/Presidents in less than 50 years of Independence and America hasn't had a single woman leader in nearly 250 years of Independence.

Well, it's not both sideism. I genuinely do not like either of their administrative policies.

Do we just forget about how Biden and Kamala have been throwing billions of dollars at Israel to fuel the Israel-Gaza conflict, because who needs peace when you can fund a war, right? I mean, who wouldn’t want a country with a "progressive" agenda backing policies that contribute to the death toll of innocent people?

Honestly, it's not about 'choosing sides' -- it's about the consequences of policies that fund war and contribute to global instability. It’s hard to reconcile the progressive values that many Democrats claim to champion while enabling the violence and destruction in Gaza. Imagine one moment they are sending military aid & the next moment are advocating for 'peace' What a bunch of hypocrites.

There are other issues besides the fact they are funding destruction. Universal healthcare ? Climate change ? We shouldn't be holding our breaths on this I guess. Student loan forgiveness? A never ending saga of broken promises lol.

It’s easy to critique “low IQ” people falling for propaganda, but isn’t it equally naive to pretend that these issues don’t exist within the Democratic administration?

Both the sides are deeply flawed ; it's just that it feels like one side is so openly bigot & fascist, the flaws of Democratic administration are being pushed under the rug. I'm sorry I'm not naive enough to believe that. At the end of the day, the policies coming from the Democrats are just as broken, they’re just dressed up a little better.

Trump is a lunatic, no doubt, but I’m not sold on Kamala’s policies either. Let’s not forget that under her leadership (or rather Biden’s), the U.S. has been complicit in enabling Israel to destroy countless lives while ironically preaching peace. Kamala might not be as chaotic as Trump, but let’s not pretend that her administration might be free of contradictions either.

I’m not dismissing Kamala as a person, but the idea that she would have been some magical cure for America's problems is a bit of a stretch. That's my personal opinion.
