Why are the writers in SA justifying Rohini’s actions especially towards a child. If it had been some other country in the Western world, even if it’s a TV series, they would have shown the child being removed by CPS and shown that the mother would have lost the custody of the child. Here, they are showing her emotionally and mentally abusing that child and justifying it too. Both Rohini and Vijaya have been depicted as very selfish women and mothers, while Meena is depicted as overly naive and sometimes stupid too. There is absolutely no middle ground.
