In OG Kaya does kidnap Arzu and Mahir (Gagan) man’s up and rescues her.

They’ve swapped ARS/AS innocence as Moor predicted so not sure of similarly to OG going forward, but at least Hindi version hints at better ending for father/daughter relationship.

What would the poor guy do? There's ARS opposite him like the mighty Himalayas. It requires not only brain but also crookedness and the Sonia Khanna factor to outshine her. As they say in movies, even ARS can't replace herself.

Janmashtami begins:

Shruti makes Mannat understand why Sonia would not like to go through the past again and she should be with her, Mannat says she is there with her but wants her to fight against wrongdoing, Shruti then asks Mannat to call Sonia maa if she wants, but Mannat denies saying she is her only mother, Shruti further asks if any changes has happened within her due to the facts, Mannat says yes it has happened and she understands why Sonia did all this.

Malla is practicing while Neetu appreciates it. Dumb. Neetu comes to see Ash and asks about Mannat whether she has accepted her, she says that she is still with Nalla and do not want to break Mallika Vikrant marriage, Ash says both are her daughters. They go down.Here Mannat is getting ready for puja, absolutely gorgeous she looks, she takes the pendant in her hand and wants to wear it but hears Keerat and Malla talking about Ash and Malla refusing to attend her. Mannat goes to see Ash when Malla Dadi lock her there. Childish.

Mannat realises it's a foul play by Malla and wonders how would she go out from there, she wanted to wear pendant and give an answer to Vikrant, she says she has earned back his trust and wouldn't let it go again, asks Kanhaji to help her as he is always with love.

Here Panditji explains the meaning of Janmashtami and asks for bhajan. Neetu asks Malla to sing, she floats about it. Raveena wonders how would she sing bhajan as she has commited so many crimes, Punnu makes her calm saying that I was also a part of poison act, thankfully Malla is quiet about it and so shall we.

Malla puts up the bhajan taking everyone by surprise. Vikrant wonders where is Mannat.Mannat gets her way out thanks to Kanhaji.

While Malla gloats about it saying that she won't let Mannat win and earn back Vikrant, her act gets exposed. Vikrant Gagan show their disappointment and Vikrant says that one more drama by her.

Pandit calls it as apshagun when Shruti says she always does this and asks Nalla why she did it, Neetu takes her side and questions Shruti of Mannats absence when Mannat arrives sharply with Palan haare song. Vikrant is mesmerized seeing her while apart from Neetu, Dadi and Nalla all are smiling.

The thunder strikes and Mannat stands still when Vikrant comes and holds her hand. He joins her in singing bhajan calming her down, wedding mantras play here.Panditji then asks both of them to complete rituals.

Here Varun wonders where Ani is and calls him but in vain, he then calls Mannat but she isn't picking up

Vikrant Mannat start with Janmashtami puja when Malla decides to not let Manvik come together.

Precap : Sonia kidnapped and brought to Mezbaani, Manvik on mission searching Sonia.

Mannat has forgiven Aish and has deduced that whatever Aish did is because she recalled that trauma seeing Mannat..

Shruti tells her to be the daughter Aish doesnt have at the moment and may call her Maa if she wants to. Mannat declares only Shruti is her Maa.

Neetu goes to Aish and its an oddly placed scene where Neetu wonders whats Aish status on Panmasala wedding since Aish has now accepted Mannat. It doesnt get cleared. Dont know why it was added.

Mannat is getting ready and is almost about to wear the M necklace when she overhears Keerat Malla talking about Aish. Malla refuses to go help her. Mannat keeps the necklace away and goes to Aish. Malla locks her from outside. Mannat is stuck and worried.

Downstairs Malla does her drama of Bhajan singing. Raveena worries for another fiasco when Punnu tells her to be quiet or Malla will blurt about his involvement in poison kaand.

Malla starts singing and people who were skeptical get impressed, except Vikku ofcourse. He is wondering where is Mannat.

Mannat is praying to Kanhaji to show her a way also that she wanted to wear the necklace and missed her chance. She gets a very filmy style flash of memory for an exit route.

BTS happens, when Malla errs, Shruti Neetu tashan.. Mannat comes walking down the stairs, singing another Bhajan.

Panditji is impressed so is everyone else. Vikku is too enamored with Mannat to notice the necklace.

Thunder strikes, Mannat fumbles, vikku holds her hand, starts singing himself and Mannat gets strength.

Elsewhere Ani is missing, house in disarray and Varun is wondering where he is. He calls Mannat but she cant hear the phone.

Panditji finally asks Vik to start the Pooja and asks Mannat to help.

Precap is Aishs kidnap and ManVik on her search.

Too much time wasted on Bhajan singing. They could have just shown one para of Malla...

Malla sings the devotion line looking at Vik who is scowling... later ManVik sing the devotion lines looking at each other.

The songs were odd too... wish they had changed it. Both Mannat and Malla sing in Lataji and Shreyas voice with ARR style orchestra which is so stupid and ironical. But logic and ITV 🤦‍♀️
