I like it slow burn where they fall in love at the end and get together at the end because the tension etc before then is so good to read, the angst and back and forth etc. Even when they’re enemies, there’s that electricity which keeps me on edge and curious how they’ll get together. Mariana Zapata is the Queen of slow burn, all of her books they get together like at 85-95% of the book. With epilogue showing their HEA. Unfortunately none are dark romance but still really enjoyed hers.
Butcher & blackbird: It’s supposed to dark romcom seeing as they’re both serial killers so I hope there’s some darkness 🤣 Let’s go for that. I’m 30% into the current book and will be done tomorrow. But can’t start until Wednesday evening as Tuesday and Wednesdays are just busy at work.
Yeah I think someone else recommended me Zapata for that same reason before, or was it you?
Cool, ill try to finish DIH sometime this week and then start Butcher n Blackbird so we can just go at our own pace and report here with our review before 31 August.
Also, I forgot to ask, are you reading ebook format for both books right? Because I was gonna use the Kindle page count for the sheet.
