I should have it by today, so I'll let you know how far I manage to get.
I've only read the first chapter, but the book seems promising. The family dynamic is super and relatable, and there are some really funny one-liners. I also think it's refreshing that our protagonist starts at rock bottom; she's a mess, but I feel like I'll be rooting for her more than I did for Simran.

I am on chapter 10 and I kinda agree, she is muvh more interesting than simran. But that said, I think the author can't write attraction well, like its a little bit creepy for my taste. But she has some good (and funny and real) characters.
I am continuing this one, see you at chapter 20😅
Ah,the unromantic falling for the manic pixie dream girl trope is here😪
Also, what's with Sam and muh pe ladko ki beizzati karnaa, chill dude😭
I actually kinda like Layla. She really is well written, Sam is a bit iffy, and Nisha is 🫶🏻
And I am done! I like it, the last few chapters pace up and it was a bit dramatic, but I grew up on ITV showed so that was fun.
A solid 3.8/5 from me, mostly because of the language and Sam's faultered writing in the start
Finished the book in 2.5 days
Amazon says its 352 pages
