I just hope by Monday Prarthana leaves. She might stay few days with her folks then move in with Swati to ensure no one knows about divorce.

You know what I want in all this, I want Prarthana to heal. We all think about the trauma Shivansh has gone through because of Smita, but its not like Prarthana comes from a very healthy environment either. All these things are happening to her also, but being ITV FL the CVs rarely give justice to the character growth in her.

No wonder we all get crazy for the male lead but never the female lead.

I think this gets back to the point of toxic marriage draining the years of youth, like Fillowship said.

I never liked Leena and her story telling tbh. My Nani used to watch Ishti Kutum but I hated it because I could not digest how That Grown Ass man could fall for Baha and Cheat Moon. So when I heard she is remaking the show I knew I would never watch it.

I was against the Shivansh treated Sonalika only for that reason at first. Because he was so disrespectful towards his commitment . But Shivansh was introduced as Anti-Hero and it gives him the license to do so.

I mean, Gul made the story better for the first 200ish episodes then flushed everything down the drain.

Credit to the actor, he always made sure to portray the character as someone who always stood by the truth and, time and again, tried to be honest with his wife. He was never portrayed as someone who is a lead character on TV, no such otherworldly aura about him. I have never seen it with anyone else, not even Shivansh. It was so grounded and earthy.

I guess that's what made me like Imlie.
