That's the reason why she's considered to be a doormat. She was always a person who used to oppose everything that was wrong in the poddar house. It's not true that she never protested. Since the day she fall in love with Armaan, her character took a U-turn and with every passing event she kept on becoming more of a doormat.

To me it seems like she just never wanted to accept that armaan can also be wrong as then she would have to hold him accountable

So she just started taking all the blame on herself bcz she doesn't want to accept that armaan wasn't that 10/10 choice of her mumma that she thought he was

Something that has happened since the start of this gen is that abhira doesn't forgives armaan's mistakes she forgets them

Don't even get me started on Vidya her character is so poorly written it's never clear if she even loved armaan Or not

Sometimes they try to force that she loves armaan like her actual son, like I remember that scene when armaan gets stabbed and vidya mata feels something happened to armaan like wtf she must be the best mom on the planet if she can sense that her sautela son got hurt

And then she acts absolutely vile and does her other stuff

Yaa theek hai but she's still a kid. Usko akal nai hai but abhira ko toh hai. Yes she should be scolding geetu & arman both ..

Pehle toh she shouldn't allow arman & his new family in goenka house ..ask them to keep distance..and then its her habit to scold everyone who is not a poddar or arman . Moment she knows ye toh meri hi family hai wahan galti ho gayi n rona dhona
