I dont know which supporting characters you meant..I personally feel Abrar and Afia both have great screen presence but also the family is well casted and no one seems out of line

Dada ji gets angry stops music

UV says hes agreed to marraige so he will do whatever

Dadaji gets angry and drags him and make him stand on stage

16 july update

Katha goes to wedding hall and sits

Dadi wonders where is UV

UV comes with his cousins

UV and katha stare at each other in upset, both nt interested in wedding

UV walks and sits on mandap

Katha thinking elders have so many expecttaion from marriage UV thinking i am being forced to marry but i will trouble katha so much that she divorce me

Pandit ji says get up for varmalah (garland) katha puts first than UV

Pandit says both hold hand, UV gives hand

Pandit says call bride father. Katha thinks of childhood how her dad left her and mamaji became her father and says my mama ji is my father only he will do my kanyadaan

Mamaji comes and keeps leaf in katha hand and keeps UV hand on top of katha

UV nods in gratitude as mamaji blesses him and mamaji kisses katha forehead and bless her, mami ji has tears and bless katha

Panditji says both get up for 7 phera, each phera has a different promise to give to each other

UV goes forward and katha forward and they do 4 phera. Panditji says girl go forward now and 3 more phera done

As UV and katha marry, Katha friend throws flowers on Prithvi Prithvi is shocked and she says Hi, Prithvi smiles(new jodi prithvi and katha best friend in college)

By mistake Naina throws flowers on omi and says sorry Omi says its ok both smile(new jodi omi and naina)

UV and katha sit after phera and panditji says put managlsutra and sindoor

As UV putting sindoor tamanna arrives in bridal attire and gets shocked and says she will destroy katha for marrying UV

Pandit says Ishwar chandra ji your potaUV wedding finish with katha now

All clap and dadaji hugs vineet in joy at wedding over

Badi dadi is like congrats Ishwar chand how cleverly you hide bride and groom identity from others and made this wedding happen. Hope you will get other rituals too done same way

UV is fed up and wants to leave to cafe

Badi dadi wonders if katha can hold on to UV till full wedding rituals

Dadaji says till all ritual over UV and katha have to listen to him and follow his orders

Dadaji says come and take all elders blessings both of you

Kath and UV come but katha bends UV refuses to take ashirward of bade dadaji and badi dadi. Katha has to prod him thrice only than he takes blessings of them

Bade dadaji and dadi blesses them. Bade dadji says listen you both fights will happen all life but from today you both have to be together and take care of family. He tells katha welcome to jindal family from today our respect is yours too

UV says now if wedding over i am going cafe

Ddaji says no way will you go anywhere till tommorow till reception and bidai over stay with katha only

UV fed up and says you know today mom cafe opens dadji says you can open mom cafe after all rituals no urgency

Dadji comes and folds hand and says katha you must be very angry with me for marrying you to UV, but believe me after some time you will realize why i did this marriage. He says katha beta its your duty to see UV attend all rituals and stays with you till tommorow bidai and other ritauls kath asys ok dadji UV stares at her like as if katha can control me what a joke HOF?

17th July

Chachi put glass pieces in kumkum water plate for katha

Katha places leg in kumkum thali and screams and falls

UV grabs her and says what drama is this say here only than inside bedroom do not call police on me

Bade dadi gets angry that one ritual these ppl cannot do proper

Katha is sitting on chair as her leg hurt by glass pieces

So now UV has to carry her inside home as she cannot walk

Badi dadi says katha is curse on jindal family

Naina too comes with katha to jindal home few days so katha not lonely

I guess omi and naina love affair starts when naina in UV home for few days, meanwhile katha and UV will be busy fighting like cats and dogs initially)

What job this omi does hes always in UV cafe i think he finish study, why cannot he handle dadji medicine factory instead

i think in future katha handle medicine factory as shes botany student, usually chemistry bio chemistry specifically who has studied has knowledge of medicines and can work in pharmaceutical. What is UV studied MBA i know from USA but degree what he did?

Atleast Prithvi is police Omi has no job only running to UV cafe everyday instead he can go Jindal pharma company and take care

My take on UV Katha wedding

I know every ITV shows story where boy or girl or both hate each other and forced to marry each other than gradually love each other

But in childhood i have seen case where boy or girl were forced to seperate and marry others

In one case i know boy and girl (lovers) forced to separate and girl forcefully marry another man forcefully

Boy was hit by own family for loving and committed suicide

And this was in very big metro not small town or village

Both family super rich you can say top 5% to 10% of india and boy was highly educated just like UV

Girls easily adapt to being forced married to another man and accept new man as love or soulmates in real life too(do girls have a choice they are forced into marriage by parents and have no backing thy have to adjust to new hubby and in laws at any cost no matter how educated or working or super rich the are before wedding thats how society is)

But boys do not easily accept separation from lover and accept another woman as wife in real life (boys have a tad bit more freedom than woman and can oppose forced wedding or go against family and still be forgiven later by family as family and society more lenient on men than girls)

So i do not truly appreciate what ishwar chand jndal did to UV and katha

Again as in real life you can see girl easily accepted another man(Uday veer) as husband but boy not ready to accept forced wedding

Luckily UV is very mature person although in this serial they try to show him as irrepressible so he did not attempt suicide etc for being forced into marraige (obviously he has to find his mom cannot really get emotional and say i will commit suicide etc and do drama as he has other problems in life)

Ideally adult kids should not be forced to marry anyone especially after 2000s ppl are highly educated and want a say in their wedding whether later they are proved right or wrong on spouse
