The level of domination from India in this Test has been astounding, and it's Gill and Akash Deep - the two top performers of the day - leading them off the field. Following his double hundred from the first innings, the Indian captain struck another ton and made it seem inevitable given the control with which he played. Revolving around his knock, the visitors piled on the runs to set a mammoth target of 608. And then the Indian seamers, for the second time in the match, thoroughly outbowled their counterparts with the new ball to blow away the England top-order. It's a pitch that's not too different from the ones they're used to back home, and they showed their potency by hitting excellent areas and getting enough movement to test the batters. That delivery from Akash Deep to Joe Root was the highlight, with the No.1 ranked batter in the world having no answer at all. Will the rest of the England batting have any answers tomorrow. We'll be back to find out. Until then, it's goodbye!

Yeah, that ball to Joe Root was incredible, simply unplayable. Best delivery of this test series.

India is in a comfortable position to level the series, as England reached 72/3 at stumps on Day 4, and needs 536 runs to win. Harry Brook (15*) and Ollie Pope (24*) remained unbeaten and resume batting on the final day. For India, Mohammed Siraj removed opener Zak Crawley for a seven-ball duck. Meanwhile, Akash Deep struck twice to get Ben Duckett (25) and Joe Root (6). Shubman Gill’s 161 off 162 balls saw India declare at 427/6 in the final session, setting a target of 608 runs. Having bagged another ton before Tea, Gill also had a sensational partnership. Meanwhile, Rishabh Pant's entertaining knock came to an end, as he fell to Shoaib Bashir for 65 off 58 balls. Pant and Gill had a solid partnership as the pair took India to 177/3 at lunch.

Waiting to see the positive result for India today.

The first session saw Karun Nair (26) get dismissed cheaply by Brydon Carse and Josh Tongue also removed KL Rahul (55). India began Day 4 with a 244-run lead, and have done a brilliant job so far in this match with the bat, and the bowlers, especially Mohammed Siraj and Akash Deep, complemented them well with the ball.

434 runs scored on day 4 so batting is still possible if one can Concentrates better.so far 8 wkts fall, you can say 7 koz i do not count Pant's wicket.

So its not piece of cake for india once ball gets older & older we need wkts from Jadoo plus rain also near corner

Welcome to the 4th day of play, which is going to be a very interesting one, because, India should put 450+ score in their second innings and then declare. And then, the bowlers' role will be vital to reach a significant result at the end.

Jamie Smith's career-best 184* and Harry Brook's 158 in a counterattacking 303-run partnership helped England avoid the follow-on in the second Test at Edgbaston, but a bag full of ducks otherwise and a Mohammad Siraj six-fer ensured India secured a significant lead of 180. To that, the visitors added 64/1 more in the final hour before stumps were drawn on Day 3 in overcast Birmingham.

Only 7 to go 🏏

Shudnt be a big ask considering presence of 2 spinners too..

Okay

So I was watching Kapil Sharma ka show on Netflix as Cricketers came, otherwise I don't watch this show.

Pant was super fun.

Gambhir bhaisahab

He was doing what he blamed Dhoni for taking credit and getting credit, even when Dhoni never took credit.

Bhai Sahab, he came sabse pehle and was all about how he made India win the CT, how the Coach gets most of the blame, and how the Coach's job is harder than the Players' job.

On top of that, Siddhu even gave him credit for WC 2024's win, and he didn't even correct him.
