If this is the case, it makes no sense with the current direction. I mean, the whole point of this fake marriage was to show that Bhagya made a good choice and has a good marriage with a good guy. Otherwise, she could have simply confessed to not having a husband at all. Having a cheater husband is way way worse, and that will affect appa's health way more than anything else. I don't see how Rishab is going to purposefully do something that gives appa a big shock.

Well, Rishabh wasn't involved when Bhagya had already told the lie. And he got involved cause Amma confused him as her damad. Bhagya has been worried sick and crying since then. So Rishabh would have come up with this, so that slowly Appa and Amma will know he is not a good guy. This won't affect Appa's health as he is more affected by what Bhagya does, he will be more focused on getting her away from Rishabh.
