Geetajali Knows that Maira's mom, obviously Abhira, doesn't know about Maira being with Arman. She knows Arman doesn't love Geetanjali. She knows Abhira took great care of Maira without knowing that she is her daughter which proves she is good mother. She has heard Arman talk about his wife & should know from that how much he still thinks highly of her.

All this for any sensible woman to ideally step back & break the engagement. Ideally question why Arman took Maira away & haven't let Abhira be in her life if she is as great as he made her sound and tell him he is wrong in not letting Maira & Abhira know truth. As a teacher she should know if Maira already likes Abhira as cute aunty she shouldn't have problem accepting her as mother.

So if she is not doing any of that & continues to be Armans fiance then she is not a good person.
