The question on everyone's mind is where is Sushmita Sen? The actress has disappeared from the horizon and inspite of several attempts to speak to her, the former beauty queen is keeping mum..
Coming to mum, at 18, Sushmita Sen adopted a baby girl, Renee and became India's first celeb single mum! Her Miss Universe crown and 'single mum' status overshadowed Sushmita the person but the 'diva' (that she was made out to be) didn't complain as who wouldn't want overnight fame!
Bollywood is definitely every beauty queen's next step and Sush took to it post her winning the coveted Miss Universe crown but there too her performance was overshadowed by her comparison to her 'rival' Aishwarya Rai! Her debut film 'Dastak' didn't do well at the box-office either!
When not her daughter Renee, Sush would not have any qualms about openly admitting to her string of never ending yet short lived romances!
It all started with hotelier Sanjay Narang, when Sush started speaking openly about her relationships, unlike other Bollywood actresses and her frankness was definitely appreciated.
But things didn't end for there. We wanted to know more than what her boyfriend did for a living and how did they meet or was marriage on the cards in near future... From where did her diamond ring came was the question to be asked! "I don't need people to gift me solitaires, I can buy one for myself" was Sush's strong answer.
All said and done, cut to today we wonder what is Sush upto? Sush has completely gone incognito. The once upon a time outspoken Sush is seen no more as she chooses to stay away from the public glare, especially post her break-up from actor Randeep Hooda and then another break-up from ad man Manav Menon. She was also linked to her business manager Bunty Sachdeva!
Getting through to Sush has become a Herculean task as she chooses not to answer any press calls. Her managers Krishna Bannerjee and Jaya too prefer not to entertain the press!
We wonder what is wrong! Is the lack of any exciting happening in Sush's life the reason for her keeping mum! No boyfriend, no recent hit film to discuss, no new solitaire... only new thing is her recent excess weight!
Apparently her first home production big budget film 'Rani Laxmibai' too has run into trouble because of lack of finances!
Will the otherwise bold lady once and for all stand up and tell us her side of the story before we give up on her as a celeb?
