Loved it Moor! 
Loving the way the plot is progressing. Really liked how you portrayed Ronnie. This version is what is needed in the show. So Ronnie has something up his sleeve and is determined to protect the Salujas. We know from whom. 
Liked the sensible Raveena who actually asks the right questions and thinks straight. Neetu is Neetu in every universe, right?
So Vikrant is in the mild devdas phase and Puneet being the cousin is with questions on Vikrant’s left and right. Liked the exchange between them. Looking forward to seeing how Mannat fits in the new layout Ronnie has designed.

Part II
Some clarification incase its not clear....
I have set this story in the current track... where Vikrant did public proposal to Malla but backed out soon after seeing Mannat not relenting.
He termed it as a prank for the family. Malla had to agree.
Ronnie doesnt like Malla at all after this prank and he thinks theres something going on which he doesnt know. So he is taking action on his own.

Location: Mezbaani
“Ye kya plan hai Vikrant? Did you know about this?”
“Nahi yaar Puneet… I am as surprised as you are with this idea… pata nahi Dad ke dimaag main kya chal raha hai?”
“So you didn't know?”
Vikrant shakes his head in denial.
“Aur Mannat??? Use kisne bulaya? Jaroor tumne hi suggest kiya hoga!!”
Vikrant momentarily pauses and with a pained face replies, “Nahi… use bhi Dad ne bulaya… I was not aware”
Puneet wonders if Vikrant is telling the truth while Vikrant is confused with his line of questioning. Vikrant busies himself in the papers ahead of him, but a question lingers on his mind as well about Ronnie's motives to invite Mannat. Puneet can clearly see Vikrant is distracted.
Both men are trying to gauge the reactions of each other when Puneet’s wicked mind wishes to catch Vikrant again…
“Vaise tumne bataya nahi ki vo prank kis liye tha… or rather kiske liye tha?”
The papers Vikrant is handling suddenly drop to the floor and Puneet hides his chuckle once again. Seeing Vikrant so flustered is a treat indeed. To see how much that question rattles the otherwise cool and composed Vikrant Saluja.
“Chod na… kya karna hai usse tujhe? I told you na… it was a prank… bas aur kuch nahi…”
“Are but why????”
“Puneeeetttttttt….. Jaane de!!!!” the reply is tinged with irritation and sadness.
Vikrant quickly moves away just to avoid Puneets questions and he finally sits down in his chair, going over what just happened a few minutes ago, finally letting out that chuckle. He decides to discuss this with his mom about the new business idea.
Back at home, Raveena is rapidly pacing the room trying to make sense of this new proposal Ronnie has got for Puneet.
“Ronnie bhaisaab ne kuch bataya kyun kar rahe hai?”
“No mom… he didnt say anything… just that we have to work together… me and Vikrant…”
“To phir agar tum dono ko saath hi kaam karna hai to ye seperation kyun?”
“Seperation nahi hai Mom… unhone clearly bola ki ek hi business hai… just 2 verticals…”
“Mujhe ye kuch thik nahi lag raha Puneet beta…. Kuch to gadbad hai…”
“Mom… laga to nahi… anyway ye socho na…. I get to lead… take my own decisions… us Vikrant se to poochna nahi padega har baar….”
Raveena is still occupied in her thoughts when Mannat's name diverts her attention.
“Mannat ka kya? Vo kya karne wali hai?”
“Vo kuch nahi kar rahi Mom… vo bas inventory banane wali hai….”
“Mujhe vo ladki bilkul pasand nahi hai Puneet… aur Ronnie bhaisaab ne use tumhare saath kyun diya??? Kahi nazar rakhne to nahi??”
“Nahi mom… aur vo kar kya legi… main dekh lunga use…”
“Take care beta…. And let me find out on my own ki ye ho kya raha hai iss ghar main…”
About a week later, Ronnie is sitting by his desk reading the papers the lawyer has brought in. Everything seems to be in order and Ronnie decides to discuss this with the boys later in the day. He prepares to put the file away when he notices Neetu standing close by, peering over them. They are not on talking terms since the prank debacle and Ronnie can see Neetu is making attempts to break his silence.
“Suniye ji… main pooch sakti hun ye kya hai?”
Ronnie takes a deep breath, but without turning towards her replies, “Ye vahi hai jo tumhe chahiye tha…”
Neetu is immediately relieved and moves and stands in front of him.
She happily asks, “Sach… aapne sab kuch Vikrant ke naam kar diya?”
Ronnie replies, still upset, “Bilkul nahi…. Aur main ye bewakoofi kabhi nahi karunga…”
“To phir….”
Ronnie replies, trying very hard to control his anger, “Phir kya Neetu… tum samajh bhi rahi ho ki tum kya maang rahi ho??? Aur mujhe to samajh nahi aa raha ki tumhare dimaag main idea aaya kaha se???? Kya Anu aur Puneet hamare bacche nahi hai??? Main unke aisa kaise kar sakta hun??? No… I won't do it…”
“Nahi Ronnie ji… aap samajh nahi rahe hai..”
“Haan nahi samajh raha hun… aur na samjhunga…. Mere liye teeno ek jaise hai… main koi bhedbhav nahi karne wala… chahe mujhe koi bhi kitna hi force kare…”
Neetu is about to say more when she notices Raveena standing by the door.
Raveena comes in and Ronnie turns around to face her.
Raveena looks at both of them and turns to speak to Ronnie when he starts speaking.
“Accha hua tum aa gai Raveena… Puneet ne tumhe bataya to hoga hi…”
Raveena nods… still doubtful.
“Mujhe nahi pata ki kya ho raha hai aur koun kar raha hai, ya karva raha hai (he throws an angry glance at Neetu saying this) … par jo bhi hai… hamare bacchho ke bhavishya ka sawaal hai… Maine kuch decisions liye hai… and trust me vo sabke bhale ke liye hi hai…. Tumhe koi doubts ho to mujh se pooch sakti ho… but for now please understand that I am trying to protect what's ours… I am protecting the Salujas…”
Raveena peers into his eyes and can understand he is speaking the truth… She turns to look at Neetu and sees her panicking, terrified and confused. Raveena realizes Ronnie has some motive but it's not the same as Neetu. She doesn't reply, quietly picks a copy of the draft agreement Ronnie has prepared for her and leaves without a word.
Back in her room, she reads through the document multiple times yet cannot find fault in it. Something that would tell her if Puneet is to be disadvantaged in any manner.
She recalls all that Ronnie said and specifically the fact about protecting Salujas. She decides to dig deeper on her own.

They can keep the family dynamics like this, itna flip flopping hoti hai, we'll accept characters changing for good maybe keeping the core characteristics unchanged.

“Puneet Sir… Do you mind checking this list?” Mannat asks Puneet and a clearing of the throat diverts their attention. It is Vikrant, standing by the table, looking at Mannat with eager eyes and a shy smile, hoping she would consult him too.
It's been a few days since Ronnie had introduced the idea of diversification and Puneet had been spending time with Mannat at Mezbaani. She had come up with a good amount of research and Puneet had been impressed which he dared not say aloud. But Vikrant was making agonizingly slow progress in his attempts to talk to Mannat. Puneet was observing with a keen eye now that he had some idea about what Vikrant feels for Mannat.
Just then Malla entered the restaurant. Puneet didnt miss the cold vibes Mannat and Malla shared, who were once good friends. But even more surprising was Vikrant's sudden move towards Mannat, he got up from the chair and in one quick stride he was next to her like a cat, almost crowding her personal space. Mannat shifted slightly in whatever space she had.
Malla tried to talk to Vikrant and he ignored. She greeted Mannat and was reciprocated with a curt smile. Malla then turned her attention to Puneet and the papers in front of him.
“What is this Punnu?”
“It's Puneet Malla… and this doesn't concern you…” Puneet retorted, irritated with the abridged name she calls him with.
“Oh come on… cant you just share… main vaise bhi bahot bore ho rahi thi ghar pe… tum aur Vikrant… and ofcourse Mannat tum bhi… koi bhi nahi hai mujhse baat karne, masti karne….”
“Kyunki hum sab kaam karne main lage hue hai Madam….” Puneet replies without letting her finish…
“Haan vahi to… I thought I will join you… are we ordering something???”
Puneet laughed at her… “Are you m….? Why would we order Malla? This is our restaurant… we can make whatever we want… and we have great chefs like Mannat here….”
Before he could even control, Puneet had made a huge gaffe…. He had not only acknowledged Mannat's skills but also said it aloud in front of her…
Puneet wished the ground would open up and swallow him… The Puneet Saluja, Head Chef had unknowingly broken his tough task master facade and that too for Mannat.
He turned to look around the table and his embarrassment touched the zenith.
Malla who was sipping water from her Stanley cup was stuck in limbo, her lips pursed around the sipper.
Mannat was awestruck, her eyes wide with surprise. Puneet could imagine the million thoughts running in her mind.
But he got stuck on Vikrant, who was gaping at him, his eyes betraying the slight anger and frustration that Puneet could feel… as if Vikrant will skin him alive…
He quickly tries to recovered and said… “Haan to… Mannat ko maine train kiya hai… The Puneet Saluja, Head Chef… how can she not be perfect….”
His words didnt make the desired impact.
Trying to divert the attention, he quickly asks Vikrant…
“Vikrant… Shall we go for a market survey today? Kya bolte ho?”
Vikrant is barely able to control his anger, her voice is laced with frustration that Puneet praised Ms. Mannat, his Ms. Mannat when he has not been able to talk 2 full sentences to her in past few days.
“Nahi… mujhe kuch kaam hai… tu jaa…”
The frustrated reply doesn't miss its aim, and taking a wild shot just for the livid glance Vikrant had given him a few moments ago, Puneet decides to take his chance…
“Mannat… what are you doing? Tum chalogi??”
Mannat looks at him in surprise… appreciation first and now a request to accompany him?
Mannat wonders if Puneet has grown some imaginary wings… since he was behaving like an angel around her. But she also quickly realizes the company she will have if she stays back… 2 people in the world she is most eager to avoid right now…
With quick decision, she replies… “Sure Sir… why not? Do you mind if I change? I can go home directly with you if we are late and unless you are not occupied!!!”
Puneet, who was expecting her to refuse, is stunned by her quick acceptance and rush of words.
He nods and she quickly moves to the service area with a faint smile.
Vikrant who is dumbstruck with the situation keeps looking at Puneet, his frustration palpable.
Puneet walks off with a shrug, whistling his way to the car.
In the parking lot, Mannat is sprinting… eager to escape Mezbani as fast as she can.
She is about to climb the front passenger seat when she gets a tap on her shoulder.
“Ms. Mannat, move aside please. I need to sit...” Vikrant tells her with a stern resolve.
Mannat looks at him in shock, while Puneet sniggers in the driver seat.
Composing himself, since he had low key expected this…
“I thought tum busy the Vikrant… kya hua??”
“Ummm… vo main baad main kar lunga… I thought I will join you guys too….” he replies, looking pointedly at Mannat.
Mannat is still holding the door… confused by Vikrants behaviour.
He grabs the door handle from hers and opens the rear door.
“Ms. Mannat, please get inside… we need to go…”
Mannat finds her voice somewhere… “But Sir… aap boss hai… aap piche… “
Vikrant mentally bangs his head for going back to the boss realm again ... “Ms. Mannat… corporate protocol… a female employee will sit at the back… even with her bosses… go and sit please… we are getting late…”
Mannat has no choice but to slide in on the back seat… Vikrant takes the front passenger seat and finally relaxes.
Puneet snorts, is met with an eyebrow raise by Vikrant… when he doesn't reply, Vikrant motions him to move and trio head off to the market.
Moor, loved it.
Malla getting cold shoulder from Mannat and being ignored by Vikrant felt so good. But Puneet correcting Malla and swatting her away was more satisfying.
Vikrant is getting the taste of his own medicine. 
Puneet praising Mannat and Vikrant's reaction at their changing dynamics were gold. Isn’t this what we all wanted in the show? Loved that part.
So Vikrant is being a baby, craving for Mannat's attention. Guess, Puneet has to play the sassy babysitter now and give the necessary tweaks here and there.
Excited and waiting for the next part.
