I agree with you . at this point of time I don't know if writers are realising what they have done with the story and pairing that had so much potential in them . Some of the after leap scenes were so poorly written the man that would brag about his unconditional love didn't even flinch when geetanjali s dadu asked him if he doesn't love her . He doesn't remember her when her daughter does badbad. I mean were you even in love or was it all just a phase or something. In this complete plot armaan is touching new lows everyday. And the self pity God that man is too toxic I don't think he was in love with abeera ever. And abheera that girl was sunshine personified and armaan has caged her in darkness.

Abhimaan reunion depends on trp. You said it beautifully - Armaan caged her in darkness . The storyline had potential but Armaan has been turned into a full fledged villian (I was never fond of much even before) Abhira sharma was sunshine , loud, chirpy, full of life but the poddar house dimmed her, Armaan included. There hasn’t been a single week without a fresh dose of devastation in her life. The writers don’t seem to realize they are not telling a story of resilience anymore , they are glorifying her suffering while refusing her healing. It’s exhausting, even as a viewer.

I know she was worried for her daughter's safety but she can tell Ar to promise of take care of her daughter and keep her in his house till she matured. And Armaan, as less we said about this man is good. Actually I really never liked Ar from the day he married Abhira and following Ruhi's orders. He at very start displayed his self victimized things and i from very start rooted for Acha Admi for Abhira. And whatever Ar did with Abhira...for me no way her to return to Ar even for their child.

Well said, I completely agree that AK should not have married Abhira off to Armaan. I don't think she is underconfident, I didn't find her father underconfident either . Their problem is, both of them are selfless, don't know how to draw boundaries in love and need a spine. Armaan hasnt treated her well since they got married. Her compassion was mistaken for compliance. Armaan is always wallowing in self pity and victimising himself. I hope she will find someone better but she should be finding herself first.

Thank you for voicing this so strongly, it echoes what so many of us feel. Yes i wish to see her as a single mother and leaving the country.

I do want to root for Abhira. I would love to see her as a strong, single mum building a life on her own terms. But then comes the sinking feeling that the writers will make her go back to Armaan and that is why sometimes it's difficult to root for her.. So much of Armaan’s arc is wrapped in self pity disguised as pain. You are right that Armoron is not fit to be a father, he cannot bear witness to grief unless it is his own. Maybe one day, if he realises his mistake and actually grows up, then Abhimaan can coparent together. But until then, he shouldn’t be the one calling the shots in anyone’s life especially not Abhira’s or Maira’s.

It all depends on TRP sneha...we know that..thing is we fans have set a moral standard and yes we are right but we completely forget that it is someone else story and they are going to write it anyway that is profitable for them..so i would be open to anything rather than expecting them to show what i want to see ..

If they want to reunite Abhimaan show that redemption genuinely ..Or if they wanna move on with their new partners im open to it as well..but one thing i cannot wait to see slapfest on Armaan's face soon..

Haha, goenkas should slap him Yes, the makers will always write whatever suits the TRPs and is profitable for them. They don't care about any character, or even what audience want. It is all about trps and they aren't wrong but it is disheartening as a viewer.

Thank goodness I stepped back from watching the show regularly. I still watch on and off, out of habit & out of hope. If the writers are determined to show an Abhimaan reunion, then Armaan’s redemption must be written in a way, that he must live with the consequences. He must suffer the weight of guilt every single day. It should cost him everything. I genuinely like Rohit Purohit, he lights up the screen but no matter how much I admire the performer, I simply can’t root the character he is portraying. I feel armaan completely changed after actor replacement.

Right they think glorifying her pain would attract the ever sympathetic trp aunties but at one point it feels really exhausting to watch the same cycle of pain repeating. I hope makers realise it and show some real positive scenes where she is not brushing her trauma aside for a stupid engagement of her new abuser devar.

By the way, did rishi mandal confirmed in RP's today live that abhimaan is the endgame? Did anyone watch it? If that's true, I am gonna stop watching show right away...
