Just because you are quoting me again and again.......I was told today that Alia called her outfit....Gucci's interpretation of a sari......she didn't call it a sari....on a personal level...I didn't care till today if it was a sari or gown or lehnga ...till it was made an issue by some...... who finally found a needle in the haystack.....yaayy Gucci called it a gown....

of course alia is not going to directly call it a saree cause IT IS NOT… and gucci didn’t even mention it being inspired by a saree. It was simply called a gucci gown. So even a inspired by saree quote is an outreach

The meltdown is real… aish, Katrina and Deepika were at Cannes when there were very few Indians representing there, and it was actually something pathbreaking and novel… now every other useless influencer along with kjos useless nepo parade has officially cheapened the event… especially the PR articles that follow to makeup for the lukewarm appearance

Here’s my thing, an entire fandom repeating a false statement over and over again all over social media doesn’t make it true. That outfit is not a sari .

I don’t get why she and her team came up with such an obvious lie. They had to have known people will see it for what it is and it’s not. If she was gonna make things up she could have said it was Gucci’s interpretation of an Indian lehngha choli. That would have worked.

Frankly speaking all the twitter links posted here praising Alia like she is the best thing that happened to mankind after slice bread seem like a work of PR

Sure she looked good and presented herself well but seeing those cringe tweets like she’s a goddess or how she handled her necklace breaking well yada yada makes me ask “kaun hai ye log kahan se aate hain?” Only someone getting paid to write such stuff is waila enough to do so
