Abhira as a character is someone who has a lot of potential to be explored from a “rishta” perspective, but alas the writers chose to stand by a character with lots of extra characters and not much story potential, which is why it has led to this current mess…

Leaving aside the current mess, is it as simple as it sounds, Abhira getting Maira to know her mom and Abhira fighting or even sharing custody. Abhira is a stranger for Maira, why would the child trust Abhira. Her first instinct is to question her father about this, does anyone really think her father is actually going to relate his own choice to hide her existence from her mother. What guarantees that Armaan is going to actually tell the whole story of the child’s existence, that she only came to be because her mother didn’t give up on wanting her own child. His own first instinct is to continue with the false narrative that Abhira put her own child in danger or that she was irresponsible. Why would he deviate from the narrative when he would lose the child? So it wouldn’t be surprising if the child doesn’t want to see Abhira. Armaan as a character is only going to get more ugly if a custody battle happens. Abhira is going to only endure more pain if a custody battle happens, she is going to be torn between wanting to know her child and causing hurt to her child by separating her child from another parent, the only parent the child has known until now. At this point, the only reason why Abhira is with the 2 ladies is they are the only ones who can actually let the child know the whole picture or at least tell Armaan what Abhira has been through…

Abhira might be a doormat for choosing to stay with the same people who always have treated her badly, but her core characteristic is she is a good and genuine person who genuinely wishes good for everyone. Despite the fact that she ended up with 2 people who hated her, the only good thing the writers showed is that the love she is receiving from these 2 women is only because of her own forgiving kind nature, she won them from her heart as she truly accepted them as family, and that it has nothing to do with Armaan… Thank you for the thread…

Yes Kaveri and Vidya are criminal chacters because what they did to shivani and little Armaan was an outright crime but did not Armaan did the same to Maira and Abhira????

At least both Vidya and kaveri never promised sun and moon to Abhira and had shown their hate towards her from front unlike Armaan who pretended to be the 'masiha' for her but ended to be the biggest villian.

How is Armaan different than Yuvraj??? One killed Abhira's mother due to his obsession for Abhira and other kidnapped her daughter and snatched the initial years of her motherhood due to his obsession for pookie.

The writers leveled the field between Armaan, Vidya and KP, all the 3 characters have all been cruel to Abhira. The difference as you mentioned is the 2 ladies were at least honest in their feelings and never pretended otherwise, but what Armaan did to Abhira throughout their marriage is 100 times worse. He has broken every promise or rather never upheld any promise he made to her. One of his most prominent promise was to accept Abhira whether she had a child or not, only to break it cruelly in the next couple of hours. What Armaan has done to Abhira now isn’t new, he did the same with BSP, only this time even more cruel as Abhira has been living with the fear and guilt of what could have happened to her child…

Armaan is too much of a coward to tell Maira the truth about her mother. Toh yeh pakka sagai ke liye maan jayega after some pressure, ab shaadi hogi ya nahin kya pata. Hojaye toh Abhira ko jaldi mukti milegi but nahin lagta woh itni lucky hain😂

With his actions he has proved that what Vidya told him during their 2nd marriage was absolutely right. She was right that nothing is more important than becoming a parent, Armaan absolutely did the same thing after getting pookie. Then why on earth would I hate Vidya now???? Vidya's words make so much sense now. She raised that moron and she knows him the best it seems. She correctly predicted that Armaan would not be happy without a kid and he kept proving her right from the day of marriage. Ever since that disaster of a wedding, he has been abusing Abhira in one way or other. Toh ab Vidya ko kya hi dosh dhe when she has only spoken the truth.
