There is a Tamil family living in my area (already since many years we know each other)... they know how myuch I like to watch Indian movies, especially good debut movies. So, I get recommendations from them and if I find the movie with English subtitles and have the time, I'll watch it.
Pariyerum Perumal got me already with the entry scene with the dog which lead to the group of young men at the pond and to Pariyan...when they all left because of the other men coming to the pond and Pariyan shouting for his dog, I anticipated that the dog would get killed...but not in t h a t way and Pariyan not arriving at time...I had to pause the movie because ire & compassion made me tearing up.
The cinematography was top notch, the change of ambiance so well shown... and that's just the entry...then comes the movie...
