My 2 cents - there was always negativity around this season right from the beginning. Initially it was for ending SaRaj and now it is for ending TejNeil. I remember Riddhi and I have discussed about the negativity going round when the replacement had no happened and of course after Vaibhavi was shown the door, a lot of people including myself were upset as this season had promised "non-Savi" story and with the first Rekha promo, it was made evident that Tejaswini will be the central character as it was her Khawaish and Haqeekat ki jung.

It is obvious that folks are either watching solely for Param or like me came to watch the show because of 2 characters that they fell in love with. Both arent wrong and both need to understand that people are different with different perspectives and shouldnt judge one other. As for mocking or being critic towards Bhavika, I just thought of reminding, there were a lot of members here in the forum who criticized and commented on Vaibhavi's stained teeth to her acting to her voice to her face and even commented that how did she even pass the look test so its happening both sides. Its not that only Bhavika is being called stone or poker face. So, its better that it is understood that this is just a show and people are just doing their jobs to entertain us if we like it then embrace if we dont then leave out.

Hence, negativity will be there around this season throughout so we as audiences and an individuals will have to figure out if we want to continue this or not. I personally as a TejNeil fan, going stay out of this EDT thread and let the folks continuing to watch either for Param or Bhavika or Neil or Savi enjoy their time until things last as nothing is forever. I would suggest the same to all the other TejNeil fans but cannot take decisions for you guys.

Even though I did not like her first look, I tried seeing Ghum with an unbiased mind. Teju is a fantastic character with a good scope, is something I will always maintain. I just couldn't connect with VH.

It would have ruffled a lot of feathers, but then even Paneer replaced two actors in the Relationship show, but the character remained.

Let's say if ganja had issues with the actor, they could have pulled a Paneer and replaced only the actor and not the character. Killing off Tejaswini when she had started pulling good stuff was freaky. Trust me, as a ganja veteran, they have always done that.

Nonetheless, I feel they will wrap the show with Badi Savi and Neil investigating why their respective spouses died. I already feel that this is the last leg of the show, irrespective of the TRP that it will get. The curtains are already at half mast, waiting to close.

And I am not even a fan of Bhavika or Badi Savi, to start with.

Exactly that is my issue with this removal of VH, they killed the damn character. Especially too when ganga started showing the scope of Teju potential

Why don't kill evety one .....TRP will explode ...Kya kya ho rahe hai is serial mein ...Savi IPS ki entry was good after that she became " bechari" again

Actors don’t bring TRP — characters do.
If the audience finds a character engaging, they’ll continue watching even if the actor portraying them isn’t particularly strong. A case in point is the Anjali Awasthi show.

I mean come on, HC has one of the biggest and and a very loyal fan base in ITV, but even he couldn’t keep Rishta from wobbling. TRPs rose, dipped, rose again — like any other show. Star power isn’t a safety net.

It’s not like Rupali Ganguly suddenly forgot how to act. She’s been consistently above average, same old bechari dukhyari “quasi-empowered” orat . But Anupamaa still went through a rough patch, it has seen 1.8 ( I’m not too sure if it went below this ) despite once hitting a whopping 4.1 TRP several times. Since COVID, no show has crossed 2.6 — and nowadays, if a show hits 2, they throw a party. That’s how low the bar has shifted.

Big-name actors with massive fan followings have all seen their shows dip in ratings. So really, actors don’t bring much to the table if the character or storyline isn’t working. Bhavika isn’t going to pull a miracle if Savi’s return doesn’t land. Period.

And let’s be real — unless they manage to rope in Shah Rukh Khan (which, lol, good luck with that), no ITV show is going to stay on top forever. Even if SRK did show up, viewers would still switch the channel if the content’s dull. People aren’t stuck with one show anymore — we’re in the swipe-left era. Don’t like it? Flip the channel and move on. No drama required.

So yeah — whether Savi can save this sinking ship? That’s for the time, audience and TRPs to decide. Until then, all bets are off.

*** this is especially for people who think one actor can make or break a show. Ganjophiles better serve popcorn-worthy drama — or they might as well start prepping for the off-air announcement.
