I think one thing has to be clear here.KB has not been in the Top 10 TRP list for quite a long time.The decline started when the Prachi and KK's story was stretched beyond the limit with constant reunions and separations.

Shivansh is certainly not the first ML character using the revenge trope and won't be the last but the moot point is that his plans and intentions has got exposed right from the start itself.

RV's character intentions was never exposed till the wedding track though the 3rd gen promo did disclose that RV was marrying Purvi based on revenge only.

What was the purpose of introducing Raunak then? He has got completely sidetracked with just one stroke of Shivansh marrying his buddy cum love interest Prarthana.

The storyline is not clear at all.Shivansh has no emotional connection or bonding with Prathana unlike RV who shared a deep intimate connection with Purvi right from the start itself.

Why will Prathana love Shivansh-just bcoz he married her and then he will save her in future? That task could have been done by Raunak too.What's unique in this sudden development?

Shivansh saving Prathana from some danger or calamity in future is nothing awe-inspiring though it might look that way to other viewers.That is done by other ML's too.

I think the CV's are planning to replicate the RV 2.0 revenge track with Shivansh but it won't work.The difference between RV and Shivansh is that RV had a solid reason(from RV's POV) to marry Purvi bcoz of Khushi's love deceit.

Khushi sent RV to jail on fake molestation charges and RV took out his anger by marrying Purvi still at least RV genuinely loved Purvi somewhat and cared about her.In contrast Shivansh used a cheap trick to steal Raunak's love by marrying Prarthana bcoz of some past issues with his mom Smita.

I don't support this deceit of trapping girls in a fake wedding scheme just bcoz some ML character has some genuine revenge to take care of.Neither RV nor Shivansh ever did the right thing with either Purvi or Prarthana.

Purvi ended up.going to.jail for no fault of her while Prarthana's life is completely destroyed trapped in an unknown wedding with a man who she even does not know fully.What are the CV',s doing portraying women of the 21st century as a mere gullible object?

The CV's portrayed RV as being in genuine love with Purvi till the wedding track but suddenly flipped the script and revealed all the Trump cards from RV's side From there it was a complete downhill with Monisha dominating the entire screen space time.

RV suddenly started distancing himself from Purvi doing Fevi-Kwik scenes with Monisha right on their wedding night though both Raghvi might have confessed their love later.

I read somewhere that Shivansh hated Smita bcoz she left his dad perhaps during his childhood but how does marrying Prarthana complete his revenge? Shivansh should have targeted Raunak or targeted Smita's family.business like RV should have targeted either Armaan or Khushi.

And if Smita true to her malicious intentions still targets Prarthana then it makes no logical sense then bcoz Smita wanted Prarthana out of Raunak's life and unknowingly her other son Shivansh completed Smita's purpose.

If the CV',s wanted to spice up the Bhagya ratings by repeating this RV revenge track then they should have executed this in a proper way.Suddenly the CV's portray Raunak and Prarthana as lovers/childhood buddies and now Shivansh and Prarthana are being portrayed as the lead couple out of the blue.

Shivansh suddenly married Prarthana to take revenge if anything it only portrays Shivansh as the villain not a hero.The CV's have made a mockery of the wedding traditions and rituals by showing this Shivansh marrying Prarthana by deceit as if Shivansh could not think of other 1000 ideas for this revenge track.

Also RV was much more intelligent sharp-minded and respected Purvi's choice regarding her wedding decision during the wedding track.Shivansh can never be like RV bcoz RV knew where to draw the line between any right or wrong actions in his revenge.

RV protected Purvi during the terrorist attacks cleared Purvi's mom Prachi's name during the food fiasco.Will.Shivansh do such things for Prathana?

Till the CV',s turned RV into some normal ML he was portrayed as quite the cunning mastermind which Shivansh is not.Also RV never stooped to.such low tactics like stealing Khushi away from Armaan's life which Shivansh did with Raunak.

Shivansh's revenge looks weak and it has fallen like a pack of cards.He might change tomorrow and protect Prarthana but will the viewers accept such a change?

There is a huge diff between RV and Shivansh

1) Purvi liked and loved Rv before her wedding to him Prathana do not know whose Shivansh till wedding over

2) When Purvi engaged to Ashutosh still she had started liking RV although she knew Rv can never be hers ever. Her sisters made fun of her that she loved Rv not Asutosh always

3) Rv proposed to Purvi than got his family to her house to ask her hand for wedding. He did not sit by deceit in mandap like Shiv

4) Rv may have married Purvi for revenge on Kushi but somewhere he had loved her or liked her innocence always

5) RV told first day of wedding that he liked Monisha but because of circumstances(where they spent full night at a home alone) he married her

6) RV knew where to stop his family members from harming or misbehaving with Purvi. He always protected her

7) whether Purvi and Rv acknowledge it or not they loved each other even before marraige times audience could feel it in the way the looked and talked about each other with others

8) Rv grand dad and brother always wanted him to marry Purvi ffrom the second they had seen her, they were shipping RV with Purvi

But it cannot be denied Purvi liked RV even before all this riots incident

Its not like RV was a stranger to Purvi like Shivansh is to Prathana

Purvi already know his dadaji, brother and Rv much before her wedding was fixed (like how Prathna knows Raunak)

Its not out of blue stranger wedding no matter Rv intentions to marry Purvi

The only way i see this story if later on Shivansh dies leaving Prathna a widow and Raunka remarries her

The CV's storyline is hazy and not clear.They built up a 4th gen couple Raunak and Prathana and even though the couple did not have much spark.and chemistry between them Raunak did some noticeable things like saving her from a goon like Bhavesh or getting the DNA test done which reunited Prathana with her mom Purvi.

The only notable thing Shivansh did so far in his revenge against the Zaveris was that he inadvertently sedated Bhavesh thinking it was Raunak thus saving Prathana again from that goon but ended up marrying her without her consent thus spoiling Prarthana's life and is completely remorseless about the same when asked by Prathana.

Who is the lead couple or who is the lead pair it's not clear at all? Also the CV's are gonna repeat the same Food fiasco trick which they did during KK's reception.Payal's gonna repeat the same thing in Shivansh's reception so no originality in the script at all.

If Shivansh gets to the bottom of this food fiasco and exposes Payal as the culprit behind this future incident then at least Shivansh would be somewhat different than RV.

But that wouldn't be enough.If Shivansh is kept as the focus of the storyline by the CV's then he needs to not only protect Prarthana but even expose the culprits behind the incidents like the hired goons of Smita or Payal bcoz Smita or Payal need to be kept hidden behind the shadows for the future storyline progression.

At least Shivansh can expose Payal bcoz I think going forward Smita and this new girl Sonalika are gonna be the new vamp duo on the block.Shivansh needs to be portrayed as the Mastermind behind such exposes which RV failed to do.

I don't have much expectations from Prathana bcoz she's being portrayed as the innocent crybaby clone like her mom Purvi unable to stand up for herself.Shivansh or Raunak won't be there everytime to protect her from every danger.

Shivansh is completely different from RV.He suddenly swooped down and married her and now they are supposed to be this new lead couple.

Revenge tracks normally works mostly in supernatural genre like Naagin or a Thriller genre.If the revenge is taken by a negative character like a vamp or a villain usually the villain or a vamp gets the last laugh like Monisha or Alia/Rhea or Tannu.

Purvi ended up.in mental.asylum.and is now serving a prison sentence whereas Abhigya and Prachi and KK ended up being separated permanently.

Shivansh is soon gonna end up losing all his intelligence and sharp brain like RV bcoz in Saas Bahu serials the ML cannot be a sharp minded person.
