Achcha that message about GenZ slangs and other generations was pending....so see my view....
ITV and other mediums exaggerate things unnecessarily....this is text code pookie, slay, rizz etc etc I don't use it but have seen PPL using it....I am actually surrounded by little nerdy guys not that boiled extroverts...and the reason why millennials are straight forward whereas Z and alpha are toh even more confusive- is actually the age group they belong to....
Aap 10 saal ke bachche se kya expect karoge reactive approach and provided how techno savvy and contaminated SM culture they are part of toh definitely aise ban jaate hai.....there are many side effects as well exposure to many wrong areas is decreasing the line of adulthood....
And GenZs are actually high school se pg intern tak ka group when you are immaturely mature and learning life.....so yeah 30+ PPL jinki aadhi zindagi nikal gayi in a way jawani bhi are very much clean and clear they don't complicate stuffs waise bhi personal- professional life mein bahut kuch hota hain unke....
Waise bhi I am little old school so mujhe ye sab utna pasand bhi nhi hai...my 12 y/o cousin is having gf and I was like yaar early 20s mein main lectures, tests, assigns, internships aur uske baad self study se phursat kahan yahan janaab playboy ban rhe hai....
We don't used to properly talk with girls at that age....duniya badal gayi babumushaay

TL;DR also included at the bottom. I am learning from my mistakes.
That's an interesting take, Ash ji. The part about the current age groups of the generation is reasoned quite logically. The current ages of these generations indeed play a role in their behaviour.
My viewpoint in this matter is more about the direct effects of the social circumstances in which all these generations grew up.
I said I found Millennials to be more aspirational and optimistic about things than us, GenZ. They grew up during the 90s when there was an economic boom in India due to globalisation and liberalisation. Millennials grew up with an optimistic image of the future: flying abroad, IT boom, Y2K, big billboards, advertisements, television becoming more and more mainstream, films featuring the USA and an NRI dream. A country that was known for being entangled in red tape, licensing etcetera suddenly got easier access to Hollywood, exposure to English and the optimism that came from earning money in dollars. For me, these reasons are extremely important in understanding their psyche. They are optimistic because they mostly had unhindered aspirations. Not to forget, they had a more liberal government, albeit unstable, than it is today.
GenZ on the other hand were mostly in their childhood in the 2000s and grew up in the 2010s to early 2020s. This was a period of economic decline due to the worldwide recession in 2008. Unlike Millennials who had something to aspire for, GenZs are entering a totally opposite, uncertain world. There is an uncertain job market waiting for us, unemployment at its peak and it's growing further, rupee has weakened against the dollar, violent and depressing films and television, USA and other countries becoming hostile and saturated, the IT boom has become moderate leading to more of less skilled engineers (who form the most employees in India) and a socio-political atmosphere that stifles dissent and free thinking. Not to forget, we bore the brunt of Covid, being isolated in our prime years, and getting access to fake news, brainwashing and rumours. All this has played a role in GenZ becoming sadder, indirect, more pessimistic and sarcastic towards life and future than Millennials.
GenAlpha is an upcoming generation. They were born in the 2010s and entirely saw the effects of the tech boom in late 90s and 2000s. They are growing up with iPhones and free, unfiltered access to the internet. Being isolated in their childhood during Covid, they have not developed social skills at all. This is evident in schools these days, where the current lot of GenAlphas are becoming the most difficult to handle and nurture. Just like you said, this early access to Internet and other mature content has made them know many things earlier than usual. The 2020s will further decide how this generation is going to turn out. No wonder their languages are stranger than the earlier generations because they haven't learnt the art of conversations during childhood.
TL;DR: Your reasoning is quite logical. The behaviour of different generations depend upon their ages right now. I also think that the environment in which Millennials, GenZ and GenAlpha are growing up makes a difference. Millennials grew up in an optimistic era with economic liberalisation. GenZs are entering an uncertain world and are pessimistic about their future. GenAlphas have not yet developed the essential conversational and social skills due to being locked down in Covid.
P. S. Wha- 12 year olds are having girlfriends?

Copium is what we need now.
